The Kirin horse is officially one of top five store pets because oh my gosh!

Are there any more Kirin inspired pets (outside of the OMGSR)? I want to start a group with just them because I love them so much!

If this and it’s littermates count, we got them in 2017 for Chinese New Year.


But yeah, the new store pets are gorgeous! My favorite is probably the kelpie. <3

I thought its was a Qilin? Kirins are supposed to have the head and body of a deer, single horn, an ox tail and dragon scales, while Qilins have a dragon head, horse body, 2 horns, ox feet, lion tail and fish scales. And Longmas are a winged horse with dragon scales.
At least that's basically what each description is when I look them up.
(I'm kinda into mythology and mythical beings and finding out differences in similar creatures.)

No matter what it is, I love it so much! The store pets are all amazing and I'm so happy I can get them!

natural colors, kitties, and zebra stripes are all my favorite. thats why this month’s kitties and brown horses are my favorite!

ah I'm very excited about all the naturally colored babies. I wonder if these doggos will crumble apart like dirt and have different gemstones underneath? That was my first prediction when seeing them. Hoping one of the outcomes will have the chimera marking as an adult.


These are super cute as well. Definitely getting Bengal / Egyptian Mau vibes from them. Hoping for a silver outcome.


Reminding me of Okapi / Thylacines slightly just because of the creeping stripes on the legs. Can't wait to see how they grow.

I think you're right about it being a Qilin, but Qilin also usually have a (set of) forward facing horn(s). They're also very commonly mixed up in media, aren't they? It's possible that it's just a mix of a few common depictions between the two

I'd also definitely say this is more a Kirin head, it's so much more slender than depictions of Qilin
