We should also make one for pets that we're ignored for the original Rare's List but show potential for being on this list.

I've chosen 2012 because it feels like a middle ground.
I don't expect *every* rare pet to be added from then and now but I feel like it's an old enough date to get attention.
But I'm seeing a lot of 2011/10/now

Also maybe we can have an exception for UR's? Given that they come out as OMGSoRare/VR and with the new changes its likely they will all be coming out as OMG now.

i chose 2008-2012 for the same reason as stated by sin. i agree with the UR's being an exception, since those are obviously rarer by default.

Sorry to suddenly change the topic of discussion, but the new poll interests me. I was tempted to choose 2008 - Now, due to the annual release of URs, but decided to go with 2008-2013, since it was more than half a decade ago.

What are you guys choosing, and why? I’m very interested to hear everyones opinions.

I chose 2008-2010. My reasoning for this is simple. Ever since I joined, 2010 were consider "old" pets. When paying for art or coding, people would pay with 2010 uncommons and these pets were considered old. It's still how I personally view them. I would possibly go all the way to 2012, but 2013+ is where pets are no longer considered old for me.

I'd also like to say that I feel UR pets should be considered separately from the monthly releases, because their rarity is so different.

Interesting. ‘08-‘12 does seem like a good middle ground, I might change my vote.

An exception for URs seems like a good idea, since they are obtained differently than most older pets were.. As where URs are chance, while most older pets were available for adoption for quite some time.

I completely support! The old list is so hard to navigate and keep up with, especially when "demand" fluctuates and changes with every user. I think a list that just bases off the rarity of each pet will be super helpful!

Support 1000% demand should be left out and raiding should be the only thing being disscussed.

Things like URs, store pets and older limited pets are the only things that should be on the list.

After we get a good idea on year wise we should start, could someone make a google doc and record pets that would be good options to include on this list that might have been ignored for the Rare's List for one reason or another?

I do not want to run the google docs because I don't want it to seem like I *own* this project.
If we could also have another user record the poll data on a google docs that would be great too!
