This pairing is a part of my inner story thing that I will probably never write out. X3 I write this as if they were anthros, by the way. Might make things less confusing if you knew XD

Colin .x.
Bridget[Colin is a member of the colour gang Y3110 (pronounced why-thirty-one-ten, but people just call it Yellow in common usage) People in colour gangs tend to dye their fur or wear things of that colour and some even get body modifications for their gang. At this point in the story, Y3110 has gone into a war with another colour gang, who are currently winning. Although Colin is not completely new, having been in for a year and a half, he is inexperienced. He recently has been going through a lot of training with more experienced members and has had little time for anything else. He and Bridget have been dating for 6 months, and she has known about his being in a gang since the beginning. She has noticed that it has been putting a strain on him recently, but she doesn't say anything.]
Movement under her arms shook her from her nap.
"No, stay." she whispered in protest. The other sighed and moved her onto the other side of the couch gently. "No! No! Stay here!" Bridget sat up straight and anxiously looked for a sign on the boy's face.
"You know I can't stay. I have to go. They need me." Colin sighed and looked away. "I'm sorry, but you know how it is." He ran his paws through his hair, a nervous habit. He dyed his fur and hair recently, she noted. He had roots coming in yesterday, he must have noticed.
"I'm so worried about you."
"I know, but I'm fine, I'm not going to be fighting for a while, if all goes according to plan."
"Things happen, I don't want you go leave and get hurt."
"I'm not saying it's not a possibility, Bridget, but it's not very likely right now. And you know that I have responsibilities towards them."
"I wish you didn't." He sighed and paced back and forth a few times.
"I know. But this is something I have to do. Please, don't do this now." She looked down with mixed feelings of guilt and sadness and yearning. She got up and brought him his maroon backpack.
"Well, go ahead, then. I know you have to do things, you're a busy man and all that." She wanted him to stay at home, but she smiled at him anyway. It was what he had chosen, and she knew he would not change his mind.
"Thanks." He kissed her forehead and quickly hugged her.
"Stay alive."
"I'll try." She laughed halfheartedly and looked up at him. She flashed her one of his trademark predatory grin and laughed. "Don't be so serious about it, I'll be fine. I gotta go though. Love you." He ran out of the room and downstairs, and Bridget heard the door slam behind him.
"I love you too. Please stay alive, for me."
