What was your first Rare?

These were my first rares that came to my door randomly one day. It was a cool surprise package when I was new and I became a CS addict after that

Well... Wayyy back when I joined, there weren't any really rare pets, because nobody adopted more than ten and you couldn't trade them. The "Joker" dog was the first hard-to-get dog, which is why we have adoption limits 'cause people were adopting dozens to have a chance at getting one X3... That said, my first "rare" would be the first pet I adopted-- a "dark-eyed galaxy", though pets having marked rarities still seems like a new thing to me.

Paradise here is one of the very first dogs given by the pound- back then nothing but a post saying "Come get pets!" I spent waaayyy too many hours on CS, waiting for the pound to open. I think I got the best animal twice from those days.

Tessa gave out a lot of random newborns back then, too... I never bothered to stalk the forums though.

Wow!!! Our first staff posting...neat!!! I also joined back in '08 and he first pet I adopted from the Pound was one of the PPS jungle pups. I'd have to go back and look to see which one it is and his name, but nonetheless, I was very excited. Keep this posting going, folks! The first rare I got first shot was a couple of the Easter bunnies. I also got a double of the purple glass PPS from September this year. Of course, I have tons more rares, but they weren't very rare at all when I got them

I remember getting a Zebra through a trade and working REALLY hard to get her for it. Turns out later I got one for my Sun Jewl xD I gave the other to my friend though~

He was the first one that showed up in my trades from the pound.

But my best rare has to be Time Galaxy:
