I was looking through my trades and I was wondering if this trade was fair? Did my side add up enough to afford the bee? Thanks in advance!

I was doing the math and counted atleast 1 non mutliple times so i was at 2, then the toxics probably add up to more, to me it looks like you are over but please get a second opinion in case i am wrong!!

I just wanted to double check, going by dates was this fair? I thought it was but according to the other trader it's unfair to them. Maybe I didn't add enough older pets to my side to make up the difference on the rares?

It’s actually very unfair to you. The 2012 rare on your side was enough for 2 ‘13 rares plus the other rare you added and the uncommons on ur side were big overpay for the other pets.

Thank you. When I sent it I was under the impression it was either fair, or unfair to me but as I sent the trade, I didn't mind if it was unfair to me. Thank you for clarifying though

While it was unfair to you, people don't often like to "trade down" from rare to uncommon, and that's probably what it looked like on their end.

Generally the rule for year differences (as long as the pets are the same rarity) is 2:1, so 2 2022 common= 1 2021 commons/ 2 2013 rares = 1 2014 rare / etc.

This also works with a rarity difference within the same year (this sometimes isn’t used by traders though) so 2 2015 commons = 1 2015 uncommon.



The trade is unfair to you (even if you consider the unknown rarities to be uncommons).

(multiply the number by 2 per year change)
1 2012 common= 2 2013 commons = 4 2014 commons = 8 2015 commons = 16 2016 commons

If you take away the 2016 pets they’d still need 14.5 2016 commons (a very common is half a common).
(Divide by 2 when changing years in the opposite direction)
The 2017 pets= 3.5 2017 commons= 1.75 2016 commons

14.5- 1.75= 12.75 2016 commons needed

If you consider the unknown rarities to equal an uncommon:
2 2021 uncommons= 4 2021 commons
4 2021 commons = 2 2020 commons= 1 2019 common = 0.5 2018 common (and it just keeps getting smaller)

Technically even in 2018 it was overpay for raven, cause in the real value based on rarity, he should worth only for around 0.5nons (max). But he is extremely popular and players constantly try to push his demand up, for more and more, until today's unbearable 5 nons.
Unfortunately ... instead of people refusing to pay such sums, they accept it and sometimes they extra add yet
