It's really not that hard to be polite when you're cancelling a trade. =/ I mean, I cancel trades without a cancel message if I'm mad enough to say the things I hear other people getting. o.o

Besides that, generosity is a two-way street. Often I'll let my trading partners have pets for less than what they're worth. And sometimes in return, I get a karma burst where someone gives me a pet I really want for less than what IT'S worth.

And kindness is a two-way street, too. I get more polite and sincere messages than I get rotten and nasty. (This is not, of course, to say that anyone who gets tons of nasty messages must be mean. That's totally not my meaning at all. Some people just have rotten luck.) Why, even when I cancelled a trade offer using my general cancellation response (no thanks, merry christmas, etc.) that person took the time to PM me and say Merry Christmas back. ^^

And then you get the people who are mysteriously and infuriatingly silent. >.> Is it that hard to reply to your own thread? Or to a PM? Or heck, to just cancel an offer if you don't want to accept it? Or, if you're still considering, to let that person know you've seen their trade and are thinking about it?

No offense, but I believe I am going to show this to my English teacher so he can show the class what good capitalization and punctuation is NOT.

Oh yes, to keep on topic. I feel for you. I've been cussed at before on the Internet, and I felt absolutely horrible. The bad thing is, I couldn't report them. This was because it was on one of those iframe pets, which were apparently not allowed on the site. But, I didn't know that yet XD.

Here's my cancel message:

This is an extremely unfair trade! Besides, I know you saw my rules when you created this trade. So I have no idea why you aren't sure if I have any, much less if you broke any of them.

It was as nice as I could bring myself to be. I'm frustrated with all the unfair and crazy trades I've been getting during the advent.
