Even if it's just a very common, something like that is still annoying.

So what you're saying is that the most common and unwanted litter on CS is actually gaining some value?
I'm happy about it and all it's just interesting to see someone ranting about people WANTING their Grey 2nd Gen. It's a refreshing change of events.

I hate how mean some people can get. I mean, I knew that some can be rather mean when it comes to trading, ranging from saying this is unfair (and not explaining how) and canceling, to canceling if someone doesn't say gregerget (A made up codeword) in their message, to trying to ask for 341351432 pets for free, to saying "Offer on these pets and I will murder you" either as the group name or as the name of the pet.
But outright lying to a newbie, saying they got two of one of the more valuable pets on CS... Why? Just why would someone do that? What is there to gain from telling a newbie they got a re-released coontail and timberwolf when they just have the 2nd gens from this month? What's the motive behind something like that? I get the others, kinda. But this? I just have no idea why someone would do this.

That is just..NOT nice.

I mean, I can see the others. The canceling with no message/saying it's unfair is possibly because they didn't have the time to explain why. The codeword thing being because they think you didn't read their rules, even if you followed all of them. The begging for so many pets because they fail to see it wont work. The "if you offer on these NFT pets I will come to your house and kill you in your sleep", while that's a bit much, is they think that's the only way to get the message across they don't want offers on those pets.
But even when trying to stretch my imagination as far as I can get it to go, I just can't see what there is to gain from telling a newbie something like that.
