after returning from a 1-year break i was surprised (but kinda expected it) to see that store pet lists have jumped from a sorbet to non+ ;o; sooo yeah definitely going to hold off starting a store pet collection until i manage to gather more fodder ^^

decided to start collecting all the new year pets! only have the 2018 ones, so i'm gonna see if i can date swap so the pps comes before the dog.

just a quick question, were there any new year pets in 2009? checked the archives but it didn't seem like it. thank you! <3

i keep getting so close to finishing my collection, but then all the new releases always put me behind. anyway, i'm around 2 pages done until finishing my cat and lion collection! i did plan to have it done by November 2017 but my delay in going away on holiday has now let me hit my 2 year collecting cats mark haha. hope to have it done by this year if exams don't get in the way (':

Knocked another lion off my list the other day, just 13 to go now

And just two deer left. Those pesky store deer! Did manage to get the PPS store though :3! I was so relieved we didn't get a deer UR this year xD

Despite increasing rarity/demand I seem to slowly knock them off my wanted list x3

I just finished my last date swap to get them in order (full grown of that year, and then PPS)! Some of them aren't born on the 1st though, but I'm not sure I want to persue absolute perfection... Just ID swapping was hard enough! >__<

In other news, I'm at 138 unique Non-List Store Pets now (139 if you count the PPS Cheeta in my gifts folder, but I like her where she is, so I'm going to be getting a double of her). Including Lists, that hits 139 (140 w/ Cheeta)!

This is,, kind of, really amazing, as I had around a third of this amount just two weeks ago. ;--;
I only need around 25(?) to complete all the non-lists, and then I'm off to the hard part... Lists...

oh my gosh the names for your new year pets are hilarious! i relate to it haha i love it ;o; also congratulations on all the store pets! that's amazing how you're close to collecting all non lists and managed to achieve so many in like 2 weeks c:

kinda struggling and lost motivation for my own collections soo,, hopefully after midterms i'll have more time for some offsite trading ;n;

i feel really at a loss with my groups rn bc i have no idea what to do with them because my ideal way would result in way too many groups that i don't really want - ideally it would be like... species divided by lineart (like pps, epps, alternative lines etc)
and then a separate section within that species for list and store but i'd also want to divide that by lineart and that would result in way too many groups yknow?? not to mention some groups would be way too big bc i wouldn't wanna divide them by year bc that would result in even more groups man idek anymore and it stresses me out every time i look at my pets but uhhhh

anyway! to distract myself from the dark abyss that is grouping i decided to collect a bunch of cute things


epps lions (12/14) - missing manticore pps and august pps



pps fennecs sleeping (16/16) and standing etc (15/15) - divided into those groups bc i love how the sleeping ones all look together


pps owls (8/8) - thankfully there aren't very many


pps buns (?/?) - haven't counted up everything yet but i did go through the archives quickly and i have most of these guys - though they are very popular so hopefully won't be too hard to finish!

those are all the groups i have so far but in my holding group are a few that i plan to complete when i'm finished with the above, including pps rats/chameleons/monkeys (the latter two of which are already finished i think), epps horses/ponies, the alternate pps horse lineart (gosh i love that lineart so much), caterpillars....etc

i will not stop collecting until i stop thinking about those heckin groups i s2g
