i absolutely love all of the new doggos; the artists have done a fantastic job. i've been on this site since 2013 and it is always exciting to see a new special event pop up! its a perfect excuse for new adorable pets! i'm definitelt not disappointed at all. thank you so much!

Rlly liked the other three outcomes for this litter but I gotta say this one’s not up my alley; IMO The orange worked rlly well when used for small subtle accents like on the other three outcomes but the giant patches of it clashing with the muted dark blues and greys isn’t rlly my thing

The black one does scream Shih Tzu, the second one Shih Tzu with a haircut, but I want to make sure.

I can't speak for the other artists - who did an absolutely fabulous job on their breeds and bringing more diversity to the site - but hope that helps give perspective on my designs anyway (and why there are two Bull Terriers lol).

I really enjoyed the two bull terriers largely for the reasons you stated for making them: I absolutely adore the brindle and think it's the most gorgeous coat color on the breed, but the white-with-black-eye "Spud" model is just CLASSIC and it would have been a shame not to represent it.

As for the breeds represented in general, I'm not disappointed but I also see why there are so many who are. With so many beloved dog breeds out there, it would be impossible to do a breed collection without disappointing anyone! I think I'll head on over to the suggestions thread and ask if the regular monthly artists would be interested in doing breed spotlights more often in the monthly litters. I would LOVE to see some altered linearts for mastiffs, hounds, etc.

I also wish they did more different dog breeds. For me I was hping they would make a boxer or at least a german mastiff because hanging lips/flews like with king charles spaniel or others don't seem to get a lot of love. I had hoped for more representation of the diversity of dog breeds!
You are absolutely right that this was the first international dog (and cat) day evere here at cs. I hope next year our artists plan on releasing more breeds.

I think if they did an altered lineart for the smoosh faces I would die of joy. I have a Cane Corso here at home and would love to see them represented. Just a big black smooshy-faced Hellhound, lol. And some regular hounds, like bluetick and bloodhound, that really showcases those floppy ears and jowls?

A "long and low" litter that comes out dachshunds, basset hounds, corgis, swedish valhunds?????? (I know we do have a gorgeous set of corgis already, but look me in the eyes and tell me it's possible to have too many corgis on CS!)

I didn’t though- because I was specifically glad I had that one because it is the unique line art pet, and so many were going crazy for it last night. That is a hard one to confuse since it is the only one on the Fox line art.

don't know if it'll make you feel any better, but there isn't one missing. the pet ids you adopted end in 68 through 89. all 22 are there and none of them are the fox/chihuahua. if you're 100% positive something happened, it sounds like a pet image changed.
