This brings up a question I've wondered for a while ... roughly how many zebras are there on the site currently?

It's probably safe to say that there are less than 1,000 of each breed... but with the Mountain Zebra droping down to Very Rare, even though 1,000 is a big number, the VR label seems like it doesn't fit something that there are only 1,000 of.

I have a feeling the Mountain Zebra is on the Very rare/OMGSR line. As in it dropped a tad.
Im not a big fan of the zebras. If I had a choice between a UR cat or a zebra, UR cat all the way<3 I was extremely disappointed when most of the OMGSRs went down to very rare. That made me think, "Wouldnt be great if they stopped releasing the zebras for a while so their rarity increases?" Just so we can get back to the demand? It most likely wont happen, but it would be great.<3

I think the mountain zebra's rarity is the one zebra that the rarity dropped the most, since because of the too many zebra's released back that one month. But, the grevy's and plains zebra have hold their rarity I think pretty well, the plains zebra I think is still one of the rarest pets though, but the demand seems to be very low at this point. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks or months they would be a big hit again.

I sincerely doubt that people are suddenly going to go back to ZOMG ZEBRAS when
said zebras have been steadily losing popularity and value in peoples eyes for a year now : /

Yeah I kinda think the Zebras overall popularity has been going down for a while already. I can't explain it, people just don't want them any more.

That also brings up a question I just had come to mind...Just curious but would that make the originals worth more than the Dec.18th batches(in terms of trades or otherwise)?

Rarity-wise, it's the same exact pet, simply offered on a different date. However, some people want to keep their collections orderly, so they seek true-date pets to have a collection that follows the order of the Archive. Some people keep all of their Dogs in one group and want their Toxics to come after their Sorbets, for example. It doesn't really apply with Zebras, though, as there are only five different Zebras on CS and most people would simply make a new group for them. Of course, those who collect equines would possibly want their Zebras in their group under the original release date.

Thanks wasn't sure I thought they were the same in rarity pretty much, but I'd thought I'd ask anyways. And yeah I totally get that true-date thing...not that it really maters to me though XD...as long as I have them, I don't really care too much what order they are in!

I'm curious as to when we will add the new UR's onto this list (hopefully after they get there rarity's).
I just want to see where they stand compared to the other UR's. >.>

(iv got a feeling the Tiger UR was the rarest and the grapes were the commonest new UR's released this year)
