Did Nadine's 'inchworm' staff pup sprout wings, (another change?) or is it an accessory, I inadvertantly refreshed the page thinking it was one of the oh too many tabs I have open and mine won't grow for a ... few more minutes yet it seems

When did nadine confirm this dog: was theirs? Because the chart doesn't say its was claimed by anyone.

The pup hasn't been claimed - GatheringRosesInSnow clarified earlier that they meant an inchworm pup owned by Nadine that Nadine had dressed up, not that the pup was made by Nadine. :3

Anybody else loving the newer one tonight?

I am super torn on this one to be honest.
I really do like the idea.
.. And while I am a 'sketchy' drawer myself
I really don't like how different the style compared to the others is. Not that I think it's worse ... It just doesn't fit.
I know I am apparently alone in this train of thought, but I really, really, really hope it ends up on the regular dog lines. I don't mind edits, but completely different doesn't work for me. At least here.

Im keen to see how this one grows...it almost looks to have 3 animals in the head. the pup, a cat and a bird...very aztec


also, I dont really get the sailor moon vibe on the little shiny wing reminds me more of Hermes the Greek messenger god...but the school girl outfit...i dunno

I think the Anime/School Girl pup is just generic Magical Girl theme, not Sailor Moon or Cardcaptor Sakura really. If it was based on one of those two I think it would resemble them more closely, personally? o: Could be wrong though! I'm guessing it's Vampiric's though! My reasoning being...



Her pups often - not always, but often - have clothes or outfits and facial edits. Hair sometimes too, all traits this year's pup has. Plus I think Vampiric likes - or is at least somewhat influenced by - anime and manga, just based on her usual art style. c: I could be long, but out of all of my hunches THIS is the one I'm most sure of!

EDIT: plus, the spots/freckles on the orange and blue dog and the school girl dog from this year are pretty similar I think!

Well, Regardless. It's definitely a magical girl dog, though there are TONS of magical girl anime floating about. Salior Moon doesn't fit, as the color scheme probably wouldn't work. I would wager that it is more unique/fitting to the staff who made it. I get a Ceres, Celestial Legend vibe from the dog.

I highly suspect that the influnce pulled would be Modoka, though. Since it is very recent and super popular, and also the collar line would place the pup as a first year high schooler or first year middle schooler (I had heard once, though I cannot find anything to support this, that the number of lines on the sailor collar equate to the year the student is in. Don't quote me on that, though. It may not be correct.)

Edit: Bet you the heavily edited pup that grew today is Jack's. Very similar style to the other adult dogs of his.

I kinda feel the same way, to be honest. The idea of the pup is absolutely intriguing, but the way it's put together so far just seems... I don't know, kinda messy. It's hard for me to focus on any one part of the pup, and nearly as difficult to try and take it all in at once, at least for me. I'm still excited to see what it grows up to be, though.

One of these two is most likely Yagmur's pup, I suspect the thorny one more so, because of the rose hints. But they are the only ones, so far, with a plant vibe.


Bel Racat, I think. Based on the hints given, showing a blizzard/snowstorm, I suspect this pup, with it's stormcloud, is theirs.

Hmm, could be. However, I'm afraid my requirement this year is the same as last year: I will only claim or deny a theory if you can explain to me exactly how all of my hints fit in. So, I have no comment right now, sorry! All the hints I have planned have been given by now, though, so theoretically someone could very well get me to confess this early! Not everything has made it to the hint chart, though, nor has the little quest I set for you a few days ago been completed yet; even though you have all the clues you need to move on, you seem to have gotten a little stuck along the way ...
