I'm a bit confused about the worth of the 2010 UR items, especially the grapes and tiger dog
I mean... they are just plain old very rares, not OMG, and from late 2010 no less
I see people still asking for July '08s and turning down Toxics for them... that just seems crazy

Logic: The UR 2010 pets have only been released ONCE, the old 2008 dogs have not only been released in 2008 for normal adoption but have ALSO been released in the previous 3 18th of December adoptions. Evidently, there are less 2010 UR dogs, which makes them rarer, or at least there aren't as many, which means they are more difficult to get.

Why not? UR is something special! August 08 can adopt everyone in past, but UR not!

"everyone is the past" meaning the few amount of people that were actually here back then. They haven't been adoptable for over 2 years. They are both very rare so that means that a near same amount of them exist, doesn't it? Or else they would be OMG...Unless I am not understanding something... The 08s are older so should be more valuable just on principle. That's my take on it, anyway.

Many of the '08s are obviously more rare than the URs. It's just the way things work. Though there were people who adopted them in '08 and they were available a lot are on dead accounts or have found their 'forever homes' so they aren't in circulation quite as much.

That's true, but the 08 pets have been up for adoption by those few people who signed up in 2008 and have been re-released several times now. Which hasn't happened with the 2010 pets.
