Does anyone else think that the rats may turn out to be pool ball designs? Such as the 8 ball, and the other numbers like in billiards?

Just a thought since it looks like the rats have an 8 on them..

I thought that looked like a zodiac symbol, the one for the bull (Taurus) specifically. After looking it up, the horns on the symbol do curve out and not in... but I still think it looks more like horns than an 8.

I could always be wrong, obviously.

The cave ponies remind me of the Lescaux cave in France...I think it will be fun to give the ponies french names. I agree with another post on here, the artists have really been spoiling us with such beautiful pets!

that's what i thought when i first saw them too.
but they could also be more spider rats (8 arms, and in orb species occasionally 8 eyes)

or maybe something relating to oxygen (#8 on the periodic table)
or teeth (8 teeth in each quadrant of the mouth on an adult human)
ooh, maybe octopus rats! (eight tentacles) i would love octopus rats. ♥

Since this is the year of the horse I think that the horses designs will be exceptionally beautiful!! As for the rattys, I think that the zodiac signs would be awesome!!
