Trade Rant Thread ► V. 25

So I've got this trade sitting here staring at me and I don't know what to do with it.
It's not fair as it is as it's asking for two top of the Sept List and fairly popular pets and offering a lower Sept list and a single Advent along with a bunch of early '09 rares. I am torn between just politely canceling and keeping my Sept List pets for now, seeing if they have any other Advents/lower Sept's to add. I don't know what I want to do! D:

I would cancel with a nice message, or send it back as a suggestion asking them to add a bit more.

Just went to trade with someone. Their one groups is labeled for UR Tiger or Trade Up. So I take a peek.
They've got a couple of just below the Advent List late '08s and early '09s that I collect. So I add them and go to offer something from my side. The group's Wish List locked though and the only pet on their Wish List is the UR Tiger.

Sad too because I was going to offer them a couple of lower Advents for those pets. I guess the part about "or Trade Up" was not quite accurate then after all. *sighs, stuffs Advents back into pocket and wanders off to find someone else to trade with*

First rant of the day. *waves flag*

Alright. So for the past 3 years I have been using relatively the same trading "phrases", adapted to each trader I dealt with, and if necessary with long personalized messages.
I mean I had the same opening sentence, the same two closing sentences, the same cancelling sentence structure, etc. It makes things clear, easy, and less stressful for me, especially that my... social issues... were much worse two years ago.

In the past few months I have found that more and more people are using what I called "my" phrases. People I have traded or attempted to trade with before, people whom were new when I did so. It's as if the first good trade they got was me and they have been using my phrasings and my messages word for word ever since. I see some messages pop up here once in a while, usually accompanying very bad trades, and I automatically go "Heyyy, that's my sentence! Applied to badness! Nuuuuu!"
I feel something stolen from me.
But perhaps I'm just being a paranoid android xD People are bound to use the same words at some point, right? We're all speaking English, right?

I hate when that happens. I send messages giving people wishlist pets and they cancel and say "i don't want those pets" Why are they on your wishlist then?!
