Sigh, I am participating in the X's and O's game and I received a bunch of PMs asking for pets, so I sent out gifts to each player who asked, some were a bit small though since I didn't want to run out of trade fodder. I didn't have anything I could give on their wishlist since the only wishlist pets of theirs I had were rares list pets. So they sent it back as a suggestion saying they only wanted rares so they could gift them to other users. I cancelled, I guess they're not happy with a small gift, but I doubt their any happier without a gift at all now. They PMed me afterwards but it was still unclear to me whether they actually meant to accept or were really asking for rares...
