*DISCONTINUED* Rares List Guide (1 March 2019)

I’d like to remove the ur aussie tier AND Coontail for the mint horse, nick unicorn, grapes and possibly the hollywing myself. While not really proof of anything, I really only saw 1-2 people sharing any of these outcomes (for dec 18th) and they’ve been OMGSR for a while and I’d like to see them higher.
For the grapes, the Coontail isn’t a terrible tier for it but I already know the lowest tier we pick will win. If the Coontail seems like a place to ‘compromise’ with its demand, then I’m ok with it. However some pets (like the rat) belong higher and shouldn’t be given lower options just because. If the ur rat is worth slightly more than the ur cat, it shouldn’t have been an option to place it much Lower than the cat and that’s what I’d like to avoid in the future.

Discounting the "I just wanted to vote", 47% of people didn't vote for the lowest tier available. While I do agree with the fact that some of the lower tiers need to be removed, I think it's unfair to say that "everyone is just voting for the lowest" (I'm not blaming anyone, that isn't constructive and everyone has the right to their own opinions). Of course, as this isn't a two option vote, it doesn't make much difference, but I think more faith should be put in the community. While it might be a lot of hassle, maybe a short poll- only a day or two should be run for the members who are part of this debate to vote on which tiers to be removed. That way it would be more of a community decision (which is what the list is all about). Alternatively, a separate thread could be created where people could post once with their choice.

If this to be done, I think the bottom four tiers from the above gap be considered for removal- I'm not saying that the grapes are worth a Dogtag, but I'm sure everyone would agree that this would be high enough not to be removed. I also don't think that the UR Cat would go either, but having more options than necessary is always a good idea. I know that this would be a bit of faff to organise this, so I'd be happy to organise it myself.

^ In regards to not enough faith being put into the community, I don’t agree that the problem lies within the community voting for the lowest tier. That’s entirely fine, it’s an option anyways. The community assumes we provide a fair poll, so if we don’t, then the problem lies within *our* decision making. I think it’s way worse if we allow options to be on the tier that aren’t relevant, then re-polling if we disagree with the results later. That really shows we have no faith in the community.

For all the pets which have been OMGSR since the overhaul I swear we don't have any way of knowing if any are rarer than the others so would it be more accurate for them to all be on the same tier? That's not what I'm suggesting should happen I just think that trying to order them all at the top when we have no way of knowing which are rarer is not going to be accurate. Is it that the older pets like the UR B-wolf will be valued higher because they were released longer ago and if so is that logical seeing as they will have been released on more Dec 18ths than the newer URs?
I guess there's no right answer though and I do support the way that the new list is being made I just wanted to voice some concerns.


re the Aussie debate: if we are making a rarity only list then I agree that a vr and omgsr therefore cannot be placed on the same tier - why don't we just move the ur Aussie down to the same tier as the ur lion as they are both vr and then all the omgsrs could easily be placed above them?

Considering even the non dogs turned omgsr, probably most URs above them are placed wrong.^^

Also a lot of rats from 2008 turned omgsr. These will need to get moved up the list too.

How we are going to deal with these rats will be a pain xD Though isn't it kind of safe to say the UR rat is still more valuable? Just throwing that out there considering it's been OMGSR longer... I know those rats aren't too pressing.... I think the nons and above gap changes are what we will need to tackle first! To the new year comes changes I guess.

The joker Bun and the UR butterbun ar both omgsr now, so don't forget them!
