I send an edited trade back to someone when they ignore my rules (if I'm in a good mood, most get cancelled this way) by sending a trade that's blank on their side, and they cancel with the reply (and in my opinion, VERY RUDE) "no" or some other pathetic reply, like cancelling with no comment.

So, the other day, I get this trade out of the blue from this user I've never heard of before. They wanted my Drink Me Dog, and offered an uncommon Halloween cat. They left this message (some names edited out):

Hello! I own a dream pet center with -centrename- where we get people thier dream pets and this was one of them! Please see what you would like sorry to bother.

As it clearly says in my rules, I don't edit trades, and I'm currently not interested in joining any dream pet centres. So I cancelled with this message:

Sorry but I'm not trading a very rare pet for that just because it's for a dream pet centre, next time please PM me first.

So today I login to find this in a PM...

Topic title: "dont be mean"
Look I never said you had to give the pet to me but you wanna say something like that about my dream pet center and ill be mad I reported you to nick and tess

After that, I replied with this:

Technically I haven't broken any rules, so I don't know what you could've said to the admins without lying.

Nothing I said was rude, I simply told you to PM me next time instead of just sending a random trade. How do I know that you really run a dream pet centre, and that you're not just trying to scam pets off me? I don't have the time to go through all your posts, looking for some thread, and whether you own a centre or not, it clearly says in my rules I don't edit trades.
If I'm interested in joining a dream pet centre, I'll look for the thread myself. If you think some of my pets would help you, PM me first or wait till I start an auction thread.

Well. Got a reply today. Now it's getting interesting:

Ugh, when I read that I was so close to reporting them! >.< I just replied with this, I'm waiting for a PM back:

- I was not 'snappy about it'. I was polite, and just asked you to PM me next time and not send random trades.
- Don't call me names, or I will report you.
- No, I don't want people to PM me about them, I want them to send me fair trades. I said that I wanted you to PM me about the centre before sending trades out of the blue.
- I didn't say I wanted to know. I said I didn't have the time to look. That doesn't mean that I want to look.

I can expect another rude PM back, probably accusing me of breaking more rules and being mean. If you do, I have a whole list of rules you've already broken, I won't hesitate to PM the admins.

They have clearly not read my rules and at that time, I wasn't even trading. So I cancelled saying:

please please please please please please please please please please please read my rules and please please please please please please do not add such an annoying message. Good bye!

I just really wanted to say some mean things there. XD That day was not going well and when ya have some stupid n00b sendin' ya a trade, it really gets on ya nerves. X3

Tiny little annoyance because happens a lot. My rules are very simple, only pets from my Extras/Trades are up for Trade. No others.

Someone just sent me a trade, asking for my lioness (I only have one) which is NOT in extras/trades. She or He wrote
hmmm hello do you need this lioness? if not i will need it i dont have a lioness ok thee

I cancelled it and replied. Yes I do need this lioness.

No trades, No PM's, and you won't be bothered by having to see their threads, posts, or replies to anyone else's posts on the board either. It works just like the "IGNORE" feature on the message board I used to run a while back. Seriously, I'd just slap them on the FOES list and be done with it. I've learned that through the years irritating people are best ignored and trolls are best left unfed. K

Sounds familiar. I just rearranged all my Lions into groups with their matching Dogs, Rabbits, etc. earlier today. Once again, I forgot to lock all the groups before I logged off. I logged back on half an hour later after getting my kids off to school and there were, I kid you not, eleven trades asking for my Lions and even my Dark Eyed Galaxy. All were blank on the other side with Please Edit in the message part.

Please Please Please People! There are certain groups labeled TRADES for a reason. If I wanted to trade my other pets they'd be in those groups as well. The only exception would be if I told someone to look in a different group. I hate lots of rules but I think I might just add that last bit to the bottom of my Trading Center thingy.
