Dunno if anyones said this yet, but based off raires other pets, id say the "one eye colour" may be purple

I might be jumping in but I'm pretty sure only one has purple eyes unless I'm mistaken? I've been silently following this for like a week and it's been amusing to see everybody try and figure out the staff pups.

Ok so I believe Raire's pup can easily be narrowed down now. The last post in this quote is edited by Raire saying "... yet. >:3c". Out of the unclaimed pups, this narrows it down to likely a pup who's eyes are closed, or a pup who's fluff covers up their eyes. The eyes are definitely purple as both the other two pets she made have purple eyes so that's likely the meaning of the "looking into the past" hint. Let's see who fits the other hints. (ruling out the striped pup with fairly purple eyes as it's likely Coalchaser's and doesn't match other hints or go with the "....yet".


I'd say we can rule out this pup due to the lack of custom lines or custom tail lineart. You never know the possibilities of the future.


Both of these pups have the possibility of purple eyes fitting the "yet" hint, and one already has custom lines, while the other could see this in it's future. There's not really a whole lot that "hints" at a sploot when they're still in the pup stage so I'll have to rule that hint out for now.
Another note: on page 351 Raire stated: "To at least clear something up: It is neither MTF nor FTM as it is not designed as a "trans pup". Trans =/= its design really.
So you can decide yourself if you see them as MTF or FTM." Which allowed me to rule out ? pup to narrow it down as that pup just doesn't fit many hints. A new thought, thanks to 22tabby I now know that the pup has only one tail, and I was a bit iffy on fluff pup as I felt 3 tails was less of custom lineart and more of tripling the tails with a lasso tool type thing. I would rule out bubble pup as I previously did as I was forgetting that their lineart could change, and I feel as if I remember Raire at one point saying we would be surprised by the adult stage. So in conclusion, I do have a strong feeling that Raire's pup is either:

I'm leaning towards the bubbly pup as the singing pup doesn't really fit Raire's style, and as she stated MTF or FTM would really be our guess, and I feel as if the singing pup having hair could make it more obvious (not that certain hair lengths/styles = certain genders in any way), though as I was before, I could definitely be wrong about that.

Both of these have custom lines and custom tails as well, and I'm definitely leaning towards the second pup based on the splooting hint as he just seems like a fluffy bun and more "splooty" if that makes any sense. They can both get some bunnies on them in the adult stage, and also I'm probably breaking my arm with this reach, but the fluff on the back near the tail of the fluff pup kind of looks like two little bunny ears. Also with "1 2 3" mentioning looking into the past as it's her third pet, and being linked to the pup eventually having three bunnies on it, why would it not have three tails? That's also probably a reach but just a thought.

Still can’t be the fluff pup! Raire has said before that she attempted three tails and couldn’t manage to make it look right, and then confirmed that her pup does only have one tail ^^;

When you denied bubble pup, you mentioned that "this one shares quite an important aspect with my lil one. >:3c". They both have closed eyes which we know is important now as it's not very floof pup and no pup other than the one that's likely Coalchaser's has purple eyes. Another thing, they're both mainly pink which I know probably is the design choice and not a hint. Here's my thoughts, in the pictures with the three buns, one had a marking on its back. The picture in the above quote as a new hint is one bun alone, the bun with the marking. The longer I stare at it, the more its little back marking looks kind of like the markings on this pup if they had been repeated multiple times (a reach but a maybe kind of ok reach). The world map? My brain went two places "wow those markings look like rain and you can see Africa "rains down in Africa" here we go" which is just me being me this early in the morning. Another thought "This pup fell asleep studying". Those were just my early in the morning thoughts and probably lead absolutely nowhere, if the book is a relevant hint. Sometimes pets just enjoy "helping" when you study. The colors also match the dressup colors if I recall. Now I've just stared at this pup for some time and I noticed the shading on its body. No, not the blending and markings, the shading. When you notice it, it's the exact same shading that this pup has:

The exact same shading. Raire, this has to be your pup. Line edits will come eventually I'm sure, but is this your pup? (you can probably just ignore my tired gorl babble, as the shading is really what led me to this pup)

The shading and highlights are the default and come with the CS lineart.
