Hello friends!!

I have recently taken ownership of this thread from the lovely Aaron, and am currently in the process of re-doing some of the thread's graphics and coding. As this thread is quite old, I wanted to get my fellow hoarders' opinions on some potential updates to which world records we keep track of here!

I have put up a poll on the thread about whether or not we should keep the 'all years' and 'rarities' categories, and whether or not we should potentially alter them (or, if we should leave them alone!). Currently these categories don't have much participation when it comes to submissions, and are split into "Dog" vs. "Non-dog" hoards. I was wondering if maybe we should remove these categories completely, or slim them down a bit by combining the "Dog" vs. "Non-dog" hoards into one single record-holder across all species per year/rarity, since we have many more species on CS now.

I would love to hear your thoughts! And please let me know if you have any other suggestions for the thread, I plan for this to be an on-going project with some more polls in the future. Feel free to post here or PM me with any input, and happy hoarding!

I’m resubmitting these hoards because I submitted them during the time the thread wasn’t being updated and they have grown a lot since then!
As for the years and rarity hoard records, I think removing the dog vs non-dog would help remove bulk but I think we should keep them because I think if the thread becomes more active again people might start submitting records! And it could be an easier record for someone to beat, like having the largest 2024 hoard could be easier than the largest pony hoard, for example.
And the rarities need to be updated to the new rarities. I think maybe we need to wait and see if people would submit records to these now that the thread is being updated again before we decide to get rid of them.

Thank you everyone!! I have updated the hoards posted after my announcement, and will be going through the last few pages here to see if there's anything else to add. And major congrats to Aaron on the complete collection! <3

Excellent points! And yes, while I'd like to keep the poll up for a week or so, it seems likely that if we do decide to keep the 'Years' category, the non-dog and dog differentiation will be removed. Though it's such a huge category even with merging the dog vs non-dog hoards, it may make sense to just leave it out. We'll see what everyone thinks!
I haven't updated the rarity section with the new rarities yet as I wanted to wait and see if we had a general consensus about keeping/removing them.
