I got a trade a couple of days ago. They wanted a pet back that they had traded me a while ago. It was a rare PPS advent. Their message:

I want her back now.

Anyone who offers those obscene amounts is a complete idiot. Seriously. I could give you mine for free, and nab one of hers. But I won't. I enjoy seeing people make comlete fools of themselves. >.>

I got two newborn ornaments, too, and people started offering ridiculous amounts of pets for my spare. I finally traded it for a couple of Non-PPSs, a November, a PPS cocoon, an adult ornament, a retired Tess horse, and a couple other pets.

I think I probably gave too much to get my newborn ornament, but it was a pet I really had no attachment to and have never had any trade offers on before, so it didn't bother me to see it go.

The very first rule in my trade rules is NO pets are free! And I mean it!
If I decide to give you a free pet well then take it. That's a friendly gift. But do NOT ask for free pets. That's begging! DX That rule is pretty much the only rule I'm VERY strict about. I can bend the other rules and sneak in exceptions here and there but I do NOT give out free pets!
How hard is it to offer a newborn for the 2nd gen? Or offer something else? Or simply go to the free adoption board and ask for free pets from people who actually DO give out free pets? I don't get it DX
