Trade Rant Thread v. 28 *Another Rule Update*

I wouldn't trade back. x'D especially if it was something I really wanted.

Looking back on it, the message on the trade sort of says they didn't mean it, though it's not specific and I don't think it would be enough to warrant a trade-reverse. Nonetheless, I feel terrible if I don't trade back. This exact same scenario happened to me a few months ago; I accidentally traded someone my gearback despite the message pretty clearly saying I didn't mean to send it, but quote 'the other user couldn't be blamed for accepting it' and they would not trade it back to me and ignored all my pleas. That killed me. So now it's a mix of 'well if the other user didn't take pity on me when this happened, why should I do it for someone else?' and 'I'll be just as bad as that user if I keep it'.

Needless to say, I'm torn, and all around angry. DX

Obviously newer, more wide-spread items will not be worth hard to get old items, come on guys.

Sure, it was just a few easy obtainable pets, but I thought it'd make you glad that someone gifts you.
They could've atleast added a little smiley face or something.
Ah well.

I mean, I gift random people sometimes, and yeah, I would love it if they'd be ridiculous happy about it in their message. In the end though, from rare to OMG so common, I still feel that gifting is about the feeling you get for being generous, not any appreciation you hope to receive. -shrug-

I've not gotten any message for rares I've gifted, but still feel good about doing it.

Sometimes at least some sort of message is better than no message at all
I know it sucks and it can make you feel bad
But at least they took the pet and told you something
I sometimes get members who do not leave a message at all
But I accept it and move on
And continue to gift people no matter what
I love gifting and it's something I probably won't stop doing!

Agh, trying to trade for C$ is nearly impossible. The amount people will give for certain pets varies so much, it's way too hard to guess correctly what's the best trade offer to make. @.@
And it feels terrible when I offer the wrong amount, (I've been referencing the "What is this worth in C$" thread like crazy, I'm trying my best to be fair!) and the user cancels. ;_;
C$ really is beginning to get confusing to try and trade for. :u

If they didn't want to trade it, they shouldn't have sent the trade in the first place. You don't have to trade it back to them. You have every right to ignore them and keep the plushie. Besides, if they're crying over a pixle plushie... Yeah...
