April fools is different each year wont be upside down next year

My issue is not that they turned everything upside down in good fun, but that there's not an option to opt out, if upside down isn't fun. Players can do something else for one day, but it doesn't seem like a player-friendly choice by CS overall.

For me the upside down pets is not as bad as the upside down logo and bright green that really made me feel sick, and they where kind enough to let us turn the upside down logo off. I get people can't handle upside down very much, depends on the person we're all different.

I find the upside down pets funny and only for one day but I get why it would effects other negative way and would wish to turn this feature off. and I'm someone who feels dizzy and sickish from upside down things. so I understand fully but for my case alone the pets I can handle.

Yeah I mean this one is the only one that has made me feel a tad sick but I'm not bothered that much that I want to get rid of it, idk I guess I'm just not as sensitive to it as other users. If ya'll are that affected by Aprils Fools options then perhaps Aprils Fools on CS should be discontinued in the future. I mean now that I've seen others points perhaps a disable option would be viable but is that even possible by the staff to do that. I just struggle to see the point of removing it or altering it because it's only a 24 hour thing.

I wouldn't say discontinued... just moreso have a opt-in/opt-out button perhaps? Just a toggle on/off switch would literally keep this from happening. Could be in board settings since that's usually the first place to go (or is for me) when an event happens.
It isn't that hard as it would just be a revert back to the usual.

Edit: it's kind of like saying to yourself "go do something for a day, don't even dare come on here lest you'll be sick." I'm not saying that all the above people and below get really sick from the upside down (or that I do), but I can understand where it can make the game unplayable for a day..

But yeah I can also see the benefit of having the option to turn it off, tho. maybe something to have handy for future pranks where one might find it a little much to handle. ^^

I actually want to compliment CS for always having very wholesome mischief on this day. I'm so tired of certain other sites and individuals who use this day to do nothing other than spread fake information and anxiety (cough cough, I received an email from my email provider containing a list of fake, pandemic related and very alarming headlines, only for them to go "haha it joke" cough), so in comparison this truly feels just like good clean fun and I appreciate it a lot. In the previous years I've always had to consciously avoid much of the internet on this cursed day for fear of my own mental state, so just knowing that whatever shenanigans CS pulls is always purely silly and wholesome, has helped make this feel like a safe place. And yeah, I know you can't ever please everyone, but I really appreciate CS never trying to do anything scary or unsettling with its april fools celebration. Very much sick of all the fake "we are shutting down/quitting" type of "jokes" you can find elsewhere.
