I was very sad when I realized where the lions came from . I've never had a growing lion before. Here's hoping I can trade for one in this demand.

Wow, I must have been lucky last night with my real adopts xD

I adopted off account too and got a little lion cub on my first try. Which is bittersweet really...if only I'd had that same luck earlier when adopting the kittens on my own account. *Sigh* Oh well, I'm happy! And if I can never get one on account I'm perfectly happy to let this little guy (or girl) live on in my signature for always. <3
P.S. "Hilly" is one of my nicknames in real life...I'm not sure why I didn't just put "Heckles" as the owner name which would have made more sense :p

On another note! I'm very excited for all the newborns this month! The owl eggs and the "vine" puppies I'm especially curious about:



I'm loving the bright colors on the owl eggs and can't wait to see how they turn out and I think it would be very cool to have "treeish" or plant-like dogs. Guess we'll find out!

People need to understand that this month just begun so cats will be adopted throughout the whole month. There will be more lion cubs adopted out. A little patience and you will probably get one easily. And I doubt it will be rare. The May Lioness was a surprise rare back in 2010. It's now 2 years later and we have a whole bunch new members. I'm going to put down a safe bet that it will become uncommon. The hype and demand is making it's price tag soar which tends to get people greedy and cheat with multiple accounts trying to get rarer pets. I envy the pound right now, gobbling up all those pets from cheating account just for a pet that will most likely be uncommon. ^0^

Now, about these pups -

And the horses... my first attempt at a horse litter. Please be gentle. ^^;

I got a lion when I adopted last night, the first pet in the litter. I was super confused because even though I adopted late I didn't know about them yet! I did miss one of the 2nd gens, but I'm not too worried about trading for it.

My favourites this month are actually the cats:

I know how you feel Liddi. I adopted the lion at 2.30am or something { derp *.* } and got one, it was the 3 in the litter i think. My friend didn't get one, so shes trying hard to get it too... I will laugh if they turn out to be uncommon. Many people have got them already and they are giving them away for 08 VRs and 09 VRs and many more...

Indeed... I don't know what people are thinking

But we also have to consider all the inactive accounts, we may have more users now but far from all of them are adopting.
All the dead accounts keep the rarity high, so high that we only have 1 very common pet and less than 50 common pets now XP
I wouldn't be surprised if the lion will end up rare, but I sure wouldn't be surprised if it's uncommon either.

If fact I hope it's uncommon so I can have a good laugh at all the people who offered list pets for it XP
