Today one person sent me TWELVE trade offers for the same pet, even though I said no each time. I even thought about blocking them..

They were asking for my zebra, and they started off offering only ONE pet..and then they made a trade with over a 100! They were all uncommons and commons and I already had a lot of them. But yeah, eventually they finally stopped lol.

When you have a zebra, you usually have to get used to crazy trades.

Our zebras were adopted on the same day! And yeah I just blocked off trading for the group that she was in. I was getting tired of the trade offers haha

I usually don't get over-heated about bad trades. I just cancel them.

Though for a while I was getting so many begging trades I temporarily closed off all of my groups from trading until I could edit my rules/regulations for Trades...which people still ignore.

I'm sure I've probably made some bad trade offers before (since though joining in 08 I've not been extremely active till recently), but I at least always read their rules first. And I try hard to match rarity for rarity unless it's a pet I have been really wanting and someone has it but the rarity of it (usually them offering) is a lot less than mine.

Such as the Very Rare Yellow Sorbet (not one I really liked and I go more for looks than rarity) I traded for about 6 Uncommons from my wishlist ^^;

What gets me is when people LIE about being able to just offer nothing for pets in their Free Adoptions group.
I've had it happen several times.

Once a girl said any and all of her Free Adoption's group pets were free to adopt, no trades. First time I did it, someone beat me to one or two of the pets, so I resent it, excluding the pets who had been selected and taken by other people. So I send a modified trade and I get a canceled trade notice with "Sorry not for adoption hope u understand". I sit there and just stare at the message. Seriously. The pets are in your Adoption group, but aren't adoptable. Right. I am good with that, y'know. Were it not for the fact I checked the trade a while later (maybe 2 days?) and all the pets had been adopted out to other people. I check the thread she advertised the free adoptions on, NO updates about it.

As well as various people who have pets in the free adoptions groups and advertise them, then just randomly cancel the trade for no reason (the pets not having been picked before me or anything) and do it to multiple people.

I love how people don't read my rules though. It clearly states if there is a pet in one of my Uncommon/Rares groups you'd like to trade for PM ME FIRST. People ignore that. Free Adoptions are listed solely in my FREE ADOPTIONS. People ignore that. I put down that Advent Pets/Items are NOT for trade unless it's for another Advent Pet/Item from that day and to PM if you have a trade concerning Advent things. People ignore that. Want to give me a last month's pet I ALREADY HAVE (again breaking a rule) for one of my advents D<

I'm tired of people thinking I will trade rare pets from the last advent or other specials/rares for advents or advent items. Seriously people, I'm not an idiot. I'm not gullible. I could care less if that's you're favorite pet evar and you'll love me so much for it. You're not getting my 08 septembers, advents, bunnies, etc, for current advents. Not unless you have a wishlist pet to offer (real wishlist, not advent wishlist).

If it's not a fair trade, don't bother.

I have a habit of taking my time to decide on trades that aren't an easy swap. I will also leave annoying trades open forever. It keeps their pets tied up (assuming they pay attention to the pet already in a trade banner).

I report people like that. I'm sure there are a couple people who have done this more than once. You know the type that say the pets are up for adoption, but when you ask for one, they reverse the trade and ask for one of yours? Yeah, soory buddy, that's not 'free adoption'. I hope they stop soon.

Someone sent a trade request for my Pink Balloon Dog from the pound. Didn't offer anything in return, didn't include a message either.

I had another trade where I traded my rare blue advent [May 08] with the flower on it's side for an uncommon valentines malk x_x I just saw that stupid trade today after browsing my old trades so I went to the pet and the person had it up for trade. I didn't have a duplicate though so I don't know why I traded it.

Why do people even bother sending trades sometimes? I get offers on my eat me dog from the stupidest people. Like I got one from someone who is NOT a noob, who seems to understand things pretty well, and who has quite a few good pets (including an eat me dog already...) but the only things they have available for trade are utter crap. It's just like... Come ON, you know what is in your trade group, and you KNOW none of it is good enough to get a rare pet, so why do you even bother asking?
