I've been able to complete two more minihoards since I posted here last time.
I also put one of my endless ones on hold for a while; while I really do want to get as many of them as I can, I simply had to stop for now; they're still very common, so even if I spend the next few months completing everything else first, I highly doubt they'll turn extremely hard to get all of a sudden.

And last, but not least:

Yes, I know. I told myself I'd not start another endless one in the near future, because I have too many of those, because it'll get expensive, etc etc.
But I really, honestly didn't expect these butterfly wolves.
Hummingbirds are my favourite animals. I love, love, love those little birdies.
And Sorren did a wonderful job on the line edits, as well as the design so far.
I absolutely cannot resist them. Even if it means I'll have to retire another hoard.

Oh, and they're expensive as hell x.x Whyyy did the adoption limit have to be so low ;_;

{ I hoard the beautiful aurora dogs! I'm not sure why... they're the first pets I adopted, so I guess that's my excuse. But really I just hoard them because I hoard them. I'm up to 678 aurora dogs and counting! They're getting kind of hard to find lately though, expecially since the pink aurora turned uncommon. :(

I hoard way too much, to be honest. And once I get bored of one, I start another! It's almost monthly xD But I also occupy my time with my favorite hoard, Dark Gray Tag Huskies ^^ I've been stuck at only 4 for a while now, though I'm not complaining! I love all 4 to death <3 And my constant uncommon and below hoards are really what keep me trading so much, and is where most of my fodder is disappearing to ^^; Though I'm sure in a year out two they'll make good fodder for my new hoards cx' Oh, the trading life of a hoarder ~

What I'm interested in since I read your posts here and there...

How do you decide on a goal for your hoard?

Do you always hoard up to a certain number or does it vary? If yes, why?
How do you decide that you want to hoard one pet endlessly and the other with a set goal?

I myself didn't start hoarding until early 2010 I guess and the Smiley hoard was one of my first.
I wanted 20, then 40, then 60... there was no set amount of Smileys I wanted to own. Originally I wanted to own enough Smileys so that I can put the Pet/Plush Items on them. ^^;
But the Smiley's gotten harder and harder to trade for and I ultimately adjusted it to my other hoards. So 20 Smileys it is.
(Though I still own the others, they're not in my trades. Can't seem to part with them after all ;w; )

I hoard up to 20, because it is exactly one page of pets on CS.
Guess my OCD speaks for me... I like to have the same goal / same sort of name structure yadda yadda. I'm just like that. n_n;
And it is a nice tiny goal, so that I can easily finish my hoards, since I hoard so many pets.

Had I not deleted some hoards, I would've had more than 300 by now, but at the beginning I hoarded some pets which were just popular, even though I didn't like them that much. So I moved them to my trades. >3> Dunno why I even hoarded them in the first place, maybe I thought "oh they're popular, must. hoard. now. Like the others. Hooray, you have a popular-pet-hoard!"
