When someone offers me the Purple Sleipnir for overpay C$ and then I buy all their items and they cancel

I'm pretty sure they can't do that once you've bought the items. I would report them if I were you because you just wasted your real money on items you didn't want.

Edit:
I got a 1-sided suggestion offering a marionette so I made an offer.
They sent back asking for my yellow sorbet or nontag.
I told them I wouldn't pay that and edited back to more than my first offer but still something much more reasonable.
They sent it back as a suggestion saying someone offered an OMG so rare rat.
I cancelled saying they better go accept then because that's insane overpay.
I'm actually wondering if they really got that offer. I guess I'll find out if that marionette leaves their account anytime soon.

there should be something for this,
like when a trade is promised then you go out to hunt for the pets they want
for the pets you wanted in return.
it's not fair to back out on the promise after someone trades for the pets then they
change their mind and you get stuck with those pets that they wanted:S

Yep. If you had worked out a deal, just use the contact button in the help section from the front page. Include copies of any PM's and link them to trade messages. That's serious.

Unless they told you it was fair, its not a scam. They could have just been a newer player that didnt know the concept of re-releases.

And yes, the pet is originaly from 09. :3

Yep it is. Although it is possible some people dont know they are re releases, but there are some who know, but hope you dont know.

Sent a trade to someone about 2 weeks ago. Was patient and polite, didn't bug them at all after sending the trade. I finally get a reply back and they sent this, ready to accept. Excuse me? You say you know your rarities and still you send this? Seriously I wonder why I bother with CS anymore now that the trade system is so thoroughly rear backwards.

This but tweaked a tad.
When you offer on a pet that clearly isn't for auction, then find out that it was auto-canceled because it was in an auction.

This happened to me with the Blue Rose, twice.
So I stalked the trade outcomes and kept offering till someone gave in and traded.
(I wasn't bugging one person. I would send a trade, it would be canceled, and I would click the pet I offered and say "Offer this pet in a trade" And so on till I got it.)
