Is anyone else getting an Edgar Allen poe vibe with these horses? Today's growth reminds me of one of his poems though I can't remember the name

Only had one horse newborn, but it's staying ungrown tonight so I guess I missed the black one. (:" And I had two of the brown dig and they split perfectly! Hopefully there's not another split?

Ughhh, I'm getting a little tired of the insane demand for the cats this month though. I wonder if either of the cats (the second gen or the still-growing blue one) will actually be rare or if this is just like the orca fox or the albino zebra all over again- an uncommon that a lot of people missed blown out of proportion.

I think I remember the artist saying they picked Poe's less "gory" works and stuff you could find in school books, and I recall the Black Cat being rather gruesome. The clock doesn't really make me think of the Raven though, so I think it's a reference to the Masque of the Red Death.

I somewhat recall there being a clock in that story, I think when the 'red death' arrived at the party around midnight and killed everybody. I suppose I could just read the story again online and confirm/deny my suspicion, but where's the fun in that

Are there actually four pony outcomes this month? One more other than these three?
The outcome page says there's a fourth outcome, but I haven't seen any newborns past those three anywhere, personally. xD

I thinking either masque I'd the red death or the raven
In the masque of the red death, there is an ebony clock that is mentioned and the raven starts with mentioning it is midnight (though this clock is not at midnight)
And I read them both in school!

I remember reading: The black cat at school. o.o
And definitely The Raven is my most absolute favorite by far. <3
