I finally understand this. There is one item pack with lots of egg items. Then 19 egg items, and 20 bunnies. The hunt may last for a week, but it could be extended. So far I have one egg item and one bunny. I have no idea when I can start hunting again though.

You have to wait four hours in between each time you can find a new bunny or egg
