I'm excited to announce that I hoard Bentley pets. All pets made by Bentley, I hoard in this group here.

I just started, but I'm working on owning every pet Bentley has made. :3 This hoard is being marked as unlimited.

well, i finally made a post in the hoarder's handbook after forever.. woo

i also switched some of my hoards from unlimited to limited, the limit for 3 being 100 and for one, 200. i don't know if i should eventually stop my unlimited hoards and just go for a round number, lol. im gonna need to switch a lot of group names, but.. spoiler alert, im lazy.

You can always start them again if you feel like you need more. But a limit for now might seem easier? I know some hoarders get frustrated with too many open hoards. =)

I worked hard in October and then waited just for this day, so that I own all the pets in my hoard on 11/11.
They look so fabulous together.
(*looks at the length of my post* Might be overlooked anyway since I didn't post pictures, oh well. :'D I'm so proud!)

Why/how do you decide to put a cap on a hoard? The only numbered hoard I've ever done is based on an anime, and the goal is well over 30,000 (and its one of my least active, go figure -3- lol) xD Do I just not have any self control? lol

because I just got this single outcome hoard

to nearly 500, and I don't see myself stopping xD

Some need a goal to feel encouraged and motivated to finish it. Unlimited hoards might get "boring" after awhile and "finishing" it is like "oh just 10 more, I can do it noooow *sends out 100 trades".
After all, you can always change your limits.

Some might think a certain number would be perfect, for example a devilish pet with a limit of 666 or a pet with a 7 on it and a limit of 77 or 700 or 777.

Some hoard pets might be really difficult to trade for, so you don't really want to hoard them endlessly.

Others just like small hoards.

I view it a bit differently too - technically I can always only few 20 per page after all, so that is why I cap all of my hoards at 20. Also because this gives me an excuse to hoard many, many, many outcomes. I now have 672 different hoards, if all of those were unlimited I don't think I could afford to hoard that many... trade fodder and all that. =/
[And yes, of course I know about the pageSize=x addition, but if I click on the next hoard, it is the standard 20 again! That's what I mean. I can't set it to, for example, 100 forever.]

I bet there are a few other reasons, too. ^^

Thanks to quite a few extremely kind users (you know who you are) I've managed to reach 10 in my Spiderwing hoard!

Right now the goal is 12, but I might up it to 20 and end it there. c:



I'm also planning on hoarding these two cats from Halloween:

And do a checkered hoard, but people are still kinda picky with them and it makes it a bit hard to get them. ^.^' So far I only have the two in my collection.




And to go along with my Slumber Party Raven hoard, I started hoarding the raven items from Halloween! Traded in tokens for 20 of each, and decided to use

this little guy to put the items on, to keep the uncommon tag rolling. :>
