The timber wolf is an 08 advent, not a UR.

Generally people get a lot of rare pets from the 18th by tricking newbies or younger players into trading away their rare pets for common pets.

Fringe + Wit(rabid unicorns) got those after a long 24-hour trading period where they methodically traded for ages. They saved up lots of fodder to get the pets and they earned it, don't be angry that they are experienced traders and know what they're doing. ^^;
