Loving the idea that they're minerals, tagged with their Mohs hardness. Wonder if they're all Mohs reference minerals then? (Though 6 makes me think of carnelian more than orthoclase at this point...) Would love to know why the specific ones were chosen!

I think you are right on the money with this one. The colors match up on them. Kinda makes me sad it isn't the whole scale!!
