I didn’t know the hammies were similar. I’m some version of color blind so I always assume it’s just me lol.

I’m once again linking the suggestion for a pet count vi the archive; it’d be so helpful for similar colored pets (with added bonus of being helpful for colorblind folks):

I'm not colorblind but my eyea aren't what they once were. I would fully support anything that makes the game more accessible to people with visual impairments

Great, now I want to see a colorblind mode litter for some species or another *prays for a snake, chicken, macaw, or chameleon litter*

I’m usually not into chameleons because their eyes that rotate irl creeps me out. But oh my goodness, a chameleon that’s color blind, so it changes into the wrong color sounds adorable.

I have absolutely nothing against theme days, infact I love them. But I also love the pets to look like the theme. While they don't have to be super literal, if you had not told me these were pancake pets, I never would have guessed in a thousand years. It's even hard to tell what the hamsters were, maybe one should have been green to promote an unripe berry? as it is they all just look the same with no distinguishing feature.

It's a fun Idea - the pets are nice, I just wish they said 'pancake' more.

It would have been nice for something more noticeable like idk for example a pps snake with butter and syrup on its head kinda like the pasta themed snakes

edit; i didn't see ^this post till just now, but i'm in total support of that idea! it sounds so useful!!

am i the only one who a little, sad? that they didn't put out anything for mardi gras? i don't personally celebrate it, but i feel a bit bad for those who do, who were probably excited to see the mardi gras day stuff, but instead got pancake day pets/items instead? i'm not saying i don't appreciate the pets and items that came out today, i do! they're very cute!! i'm just saying it would've been nice to see some stuff for mardi gras too, like they've done in previous years.

As a Louisiana girl- yes i am also sad hahah i was so hoping for some Mardi Gras pets
But, i do love the pancake pets!! the blueberry hammies are adorable! & im obsessed w the items!
