I write as a hobby, but I don't really have any links for here or anywhere online. What little writing I did do on here is gone or the one rp thread I had with Lacuna that I forgot to reply to ages ago because I'm terrible at writing replies in a timely fashion. Everything else I've written is offsite or in my documents, mostly writing some small stories or some roleplaying.

to anyone in college or graduated:

whats one thing you wish you wouldve known before you entered college? or whilst in college?

I honestly wish I had gone to community college first. Going to a four year college, while I've learned a lot, is extremely costly for what I was working with.
I also wish I had finalized what I wanted to do before going in, but it didn't take long for me to figure it out.

Is it fun to be a mod?! :)

It can be pretty fun, especially during events. I love seeing the staff and user interactions, sometimes it gets pretty funny.

Too many people don't want to put the effort to do it well, and just expect too many large jumps between rarities. There's too much impatience.

Have you ever competed in NaNoWriMo or Camp NaNo? c:

I've done NaNo a few times, but since I work in retail in HR... yeah, I get too busy working 40+ hours a week hiring and training people during that season and helping in jewelry and being forced to neglect my own job because the managers rely on me so heavily to run half the store. So by the time I get home, I tend to just die on my bed until the next day.

To any roleplay mods: Do you have a faviorate character that you love role-playing as?

I'm not an RPM, but I do! Kemuel's my current favorite, though I have been working on an Assassin to potentially RP with. Or just write, idk.

I do, but I don't have anything major posted. I guess there are a few character forms here and there, though.

Do any of you guys have interests in myths and legends? especially norse mythology!

I love any kind of mythology and legend. I'm one of the freak experts when it comes to ghost stories in my state, and I love digging through those kinds of stories. I even had a class that analyzed the Hero Cycle through the legends of different cultures!

have you ever ridden a horse? if so did you like it??
whats your opinion on the band twenty one pilots?

I've ridden a horse for what probably amounts to six hours total. I love it, but I don't have much access to the animals.
I don't really have an opinion on the band. They're not bad, by any means. Just not something I'm into, I guess.

How long does it take to make a pet?

I've had some pets take a little over an hour, and some take four hours over a period of several days. It depends on edits and what I'm going for, and if I actually have the skill to manage it. Unfortunately, there's sometimes a few miles between what I had in mind and what I ended up making, so there's some ideas that will never see the light of day.

What inspired you to become a staff member?

I wanted to give back to the site that gave me so much. /cliche
Seriously though, I grew up on this site. I've been here since 2009. I've changed a lot as a person and I was encouraged so much in my writing and art by the community.

I like to try. c': I'm too nervous to share it, though.

I love mythology. Greek and Roman ranks at the top for me. I played Age of Mythology when I was a smol child (heck, I still play it) and that really sparked my interest in it all. So I do know a little about norse mythology as well. ^^

I love my little red-headed mare. <3 I've been riding since I was 7. I love it. It's a wonderful outlet for me.

whats one thing you wish you wouldve known before you entered college? or whilst in college?

I wish I would have been more aware of the fact that in high school I was a "big fish in a little pond." It was kind of a shock being thrown into a large university. I actually had to study, and I struggled until I learned how since I never had to. It was a humbling experience.
Also: Take advantage of office hours with professors, get to know professors, and join groups that interest you. Everyone is trying to make friends the first couple of weeks, and I wish I would have taken advantage of that and put myself out there more.
On a more personal note, I wish I would have known I had celiac disease before suffering in the dorm setting all year undiagnosed. c':

Yes! I love drawing a lot, animating is a lot more of a pain though since it becomes very tedious. D':

In terms of pet designs... I don't think I can name one! There's so many pretty litters, but I think I would have to lean more towards any litter bouquetblu made. x'D

hello! i was wondering what usually inspires you guys to design a litter of pets? do the ideas just pop into your head?
thankyou if anyone answers!<3 curious on how you get your ideas.

Sometimes I get inspiration from things, for example the first Cyberwing dog I made had inspiration from just... staring at a bowl I just used. :'D I took a little bit of the design elements from it.



But a lot of times I just come up with something on whim too! I usually do whatever feels/looks right to me, like the recent chameleon litter I made!

Candyland I think? I remember playing that a lot as a kid I think. P: LIFE was another game I played and loved too!

Do you spell it as grey or gray?

I spell it both ways, it depends on the shade of the color. For example, lighter shades will make me use grey while darker shades will make me use gray instead.

Can someone please tell me how to pronounce oekaki? I've been confused for my entire CS experience on how to say it and it's really been bothering me lately. xD

I think it's mostly up to use interpretation, but I always said it as Oh-kahk-ee

Swiftalu is a shortened version of a longer username I used to use, Swiftstar-Lunaclan. I used to be into warriors a lot but got inspiration from another user to shorten my username, thus Swiftalu was born.

what do you think about these things called fidget spinners ? I literally hate them and i don't see anything special in it and i want to hear your opinion on it :)

My opinions are kinda mixed, I think it's really silly people are making such a big deal out of it and doing some really... dumb things with it. However I do have one myself, and will have to admit it has this sort of relaxing feel to it. I tend to fidget a lot and this is directed towards people like me which might be why.

I've made quite a few close friends with staff! I don't think I'll list them though because I know I'm going to forget someone and it'll make me sad. D:

I found out about CS through a site called Foopets, I saw the pets on here and thought they were pretty cute.

My favorite drawing program would be photoshop, I use it all the time to draw! I'm not too big of a fan on SAI because of how blendy it is.

How long does it take to make a pet?

Depends on things such as if I got a huge inspiration, edits, and the complexity of the design. 2nd gens tend to take the shortest time I feel since I'm combining design elements that already exist, coming up with something original tends to take longer for me (Simple designs are shorter while complex ones are longer). Edited pets take the longest for me since I have to go back and add in shading/highlights on the edited parts. There's some cases where original designs take shorter though, such as the cloud chickens I made.

i'm a weirdo who primarily only roleplays as canon characters ( ocs if you manage to persuade me into creating one and even then i might
be like "ehhhh" 'cause it's out of my comfort zone ), but i don't really have a favorite even though i usually play as the same characters woops

half of my roots are scandinavian ( swedish/norwegian; and the other half is finnish ) so norse mythology is part of my life basically.
most finnish myths are adapted from those of the scandic, so i've heard the same stories in multiple different languages.

all in all, yeah, i'm interested in myths and legends!

What inspired you to become a staff member?

I really looked up to the GHs who were on the team already, and I wanted to help out others in the same way they did. The 'newbie helpers' became a thing when I was still quite the noob, so knowing there were friendly faces about to go to if I had any problems was really reassuring. I hope I've been able to have the same effect for others! c':

I do bits here and there when inspiration strikes (mostly descriptive stuff rather than narratives or the like) but they're nothing special and I don't really post them anywhere.

Mythology is so cool! I don't know too much about Norse, unfortunately, but I've studied Latin for the past 6 years and with that came learning literature, a lot of which was about (or referenced in the very least) classical Roman mythology. It's so fascinating to learn about their beliefs, rituals and the like. My favourite was studying part of Virgil's Aeneid this past year and working with book 6, where Aeneas goes to the Underworld.
