Am I the only one who is not really happy with getting someones custom pet as an adoptable? It just kind of bothers me that I will have someone elses special pet in my collection, and it doesn't really seem fair, or maybe it's just me...

DisabledLlama bred the pair. Pid didn't. They didn't purposely make their own character a pet. It's not a custom either, because anyone could get it. I'm sure DisabledLlama did it because Pid is a big help on the site. They honestly deserves it with all they do. When it grows up it may not even look like Pid's character. It could just be because the newborn's covered up, but it also may look like it.

On another note:



I'm excited for these pups! I hope they look like mosaic or stained glass windows.

but ... It was an original character up until this point (DL even admitted to getting permission to use it) , which is where people are upset, and I believe rightly so.
After this I guess it won't be an 'original' character as any one will be allowed to use the design .
Also CS had stated that they will not use OC's for inspiration, and it is a little suspicious that Pid gets hers made, (a huge help or not/they are lot of users that do just as much a she does) Because it is pretty common knowledge that she and DL are very good friends.


I don't see why every one is bashing those against loving the pet.

well I'd just like to point out that its TECHNICALLY just a design that I made a while ago because pid was wondering what the pups of those two parents would look like. Pid asked if she could have the design as a character.
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but lots of people use their CS pets as "OCs"
Like someone stated before, I was approached. Pid didn't suggest it or ask for it to become a pet. I gave DL specific permission to use the design as a CS pet. nbd
I don't understand why everyone is getting so butthurt over it. it's not a custom.

we're not "bashing" anyone. There's no point in making a big fuss over it. If you don't like it, fine. Don't have it, trade it away. Nobody said you had to love it, but you don't have to come here and complain about it nonstop either. DL and Pid weren't the only ones involved, the artist who originally did Pid's character had to approve, and I'm guessing Tess was fine with it as well. It's a freaking newborn, wait until it's full grown to say it looks just like someone's OC. It just so happens that it looks like it could be from both the parents from this month, it's not like they made a litter just to include Pid's character. And a great deal of the design is on the blanket, not the actual pup. Everyone is spamming the thread with this discussion and frankly, it's irritating. This isn't the place to complain about it nonstop, nor is there a need to. If it bothers you that much, send in a help ticket and talk to someone about it.

they remeind me of the sand man, brown color, night time colored blanket and sand swirls


also who or what is pid and i don't see the problem here... remember the bha horses, they are based off of a sona, no one has a problem with them

And wow, the butterfly wolves this month are so cool, I hope these end up like these dogs

I second that! I've got 85 C$s and can't wait to see what they look like.
