Finally found a used to trade with who I have wishlist pets they want. (I always start making a trade by looking at my side first to see if I have anything they want.)
Best of all, it's a pretty old-ish pet, and I figure I can make a good, fair trade for a pet around the same rarity.

Hah. Like that could happen.
Look into the user's pets, anything above common is paperclipped for the rarest of the rare pets. User, there's no way you're getting any of those, or even any trades in general.

Why must so many users INSIST of directly paperclipping to their dream pets? You may get there if you work in sections, not if you try to get directly there from the pets you have now.
I might have been able to trade with you then. D:

Maybe try asking for fewer? Most people don't want to trade all of their newborns of one type away in one trade.
