Malk will only be releasing her owls or spiders now.

She doesn't have time to release so many species (as is probably obvious by the infrequent updates to the previous Malk pets page) and we both feel it's a bit odd having double-ups for species like for 'cats' and 'Malk cats' like we're running a second adoptable site within this one. Malk has chosen to keep her spiders and owls, because they're the only owls/spiders on the site and they are her favorites.

At this point, I think it is still undecided whether dragons will continue to be released the same way they once were (random chance to get an egg when adopting Malk's pets) so they might not be retired yet.

We all know that Malk's linearts are very popular, so it is a shame to officially retire many of them, but if you look at the archive you'll see that each species was only used once or twice a year anyway so it's not going to be a huge change to the site dynamic.

Aww! It will be a pity for the other adopts to be tired but it is Malk's choice. I'm happy though she didn't decide to retire her owls, the 'child' stage is one of my ultimate favorites -pokes Mister Poofles in my favorites groups- I hope we have more PPS owls. XD
