any opinions on this would be appreciated i don't know what recent store pets are worth exactly so its a bit hard for me to calculate correctly

They are 100% under, regardless of demand I belive you could still get far better then this. The big thing I've heard for trade downs is the 2:1 rule where one rare is 2 extremely uncommon of the same year and one rare is worth 4 extremely uncommons of the next year and so on and so forth for all of the other rarities. So going by that logic their offer is not even half of the worth of one of your rats let alone both. If you want more info on what your rats might be worth then I'd recommend checking out this thread.

Hey guys! Is this fair? They’re both relatively the same age, wondering about demand as well. I loveeeee the horse, just wondering if maybe it would be better for me to buy it with C$ or trade the lion.

According to Horror's List the Lion is worth about 1 MA and the Store Carrousel Horse is worth 2 MA so they are overpaying by 1MA or 10 old rares. One thing to keep in mind as well is that store pets will become more valuable as time goes on because they aren't rereleased every December like other pets. I would do this trade but if you're unsure you can always wait for someone else's opinion.
