There isn't because they're not completely necessary. Atwood commented on this a few years ago (here):

There is a guide around somewhere for Tess dragons, though I'm not sure if the names in that are actually widely used or not. For the unusual species like Tess dragons and squids they're usually named by [Colour] [Main Marking/Feature] + [Species]. For example, you might have the Blue Snowflake Tess dragon, the Pink Heart Squid, the Purple Bandit Squid, or the Purple Fancy Squid. For Nick pets, they're typically named the same as the real pet but with 'Nick' added in, as well as species if that's been changed, like Green Nick Toxic, Nick Sunback, or Nick Galaxy Horse. They're not so much official names as names that describe which pet you mean, so basically describe the pet's one or two most distinctive features along with its species and you've probably pretty much got it. :3

I hope it's OK to ask here. Is there or will there be guides for the BWs from 2012 (not all named yet) on?
(I understand it's a huge task and if I had a clue I'd offer to help, but I don't know where/who/how/why pets are named what they are. If you need admin assistance (as in typing etc) I can provide that.)
Edit: Second question: if the wiki and the guide disagree on a pet name, which is most likely to be correct?

DaDwarf has taken over most of the naming guides, so she's been working over time on updating them (but it does take time). To my knowledge, the wiki isn't updated too much (but DaDwarf does that too, but it has to be accepted, so it's not always up to date). If they disagree on a name, I'm not too sure which one is more likely to be correct. If the guide is really, really old, it's probably out of date. Also check how many of the names have been entered for other months (so for example if the guide has more named pets than the wiki, it might be the wiki that's out of date). To be honest, most of the names that are used are the names on the Rares List (ie. Blue Balloon, Sunback, etc.), pets of popular demand (ie. white february, firestar, etc.), and store pets. If you were to mention something like the "pastel blue bw" (if there is one), chances are people won't know what you mean. ^^;
