Wait a minute… The pets that we get are unknown,right? So,when they're adopted,they're,for example,all black so we cannot recognize what pet is?
Sorry,it's my first 18th advent day on this game,so I'm confused with all these things… >_<

Some pets will be babies, yes.
But you can identify them, and their possible outcomes, through the archive, or through asking members who may know.

Yes, it will look exactly like the pet at newborn stage. :> The only pets we won't "recognize" are new URs.

im confused do we get a chance of getting any pet on the site or only certain ones? if only some what pets do u have a chance of getting?

Actually, you will not receive a pet that is less than an older uncommon ^^

oh okay. is there a a percentage like 1 in 50 people get really rare pets? like is there a better chance to get rarer pets than more common ones?

You really never know, there is more rare pets revolved around because CS does not want them to go "extinct", but really you never know what you could get. Probably nothing from this year though, and you don't get store pets.

Yep you will get the pet exactly how it was first adopted

But that also mean if you adopt say a sunpup, you won't know what exact outcome you got untill it grows =3

Quick question:
Is it against CS rules to try to take pets from new players? If so, and I get a trade, can I report them for it? -worried about being scammed-

The best answer to this is lock your pets.
If you go to your group settings right after you adopt, you'll notice a small area at the bottom labeled 'Manage Group Settings'. Go to the first one down- change trade settings- and select lock.
Now other players won't have the chance to offer on the pets within that group.

If you leave them open for trading, and you a get trade, two things can happen.
Ninja trading- Where a person sends a trade and doesn't say something like 'Oh-It's not going to be worth anything' or 'It's just a common'. And they won't tell you anything, it'll just be a trading offer.
Then there's scamming, which is reportable. This is when the person convinces you that the pet's worth is less than what it actually is, and lies to you. This is when they will say things like 'It's just a common' or 'This is what it's worth'. Ect. And that the trade is fair to you and them.

Thank you Hekomi and Aralas and Wyrd for the explanations, I just didn't quite understand it from the first page. Probably read it too fast though.
