But I'd agree - they're overpaying quite a lot. Even one rat is worth significantly more than the Tess dragon.

Since a 2015-2014 staff pet is equal to a 2009 rare, I'd say it's unfair, since the store pet is from 2013. But you might want to get a second opinion, I'm pretty new to this.

Currently around a skeleton PPS would fill the gap just considering rarity.
However demand for the Malk is pretty high right now and it will be moving to a higher placement on the list I would say within a week's time (probably - I can't say exactly but it's coming up here). So right now the answer is a skeleton PPS - the fact that it's about to move doesn't change its current value - but it would be a good idea to check back to see where the Malk ends up if you don't happen to make a trade before it does change. :)

That would be a fair trade for the store pet so they'd have to add if you want them to overpay.

In terms of rarity that'd be unfair to you - their side is worth about a non and a nonballoon or so. They'd need to add roughly an UR holly dog for that to be fair. :)
