I'd really appreciate some advice on this trade.
I've learnt that (generally speaking) '15 Rare = '13 Uncommon, but how about recent Rares vs older Commons? xD

DaDwarf said with the new rarity system that marks pets on active accounts, the rarities are a lot more accurate than they use to be. I've always said rarity drops every year ('15 rare = 4 '15 uncommon = 2 '14 uncommons = 1 '13 uncommon = 1 '12 common) because that system works for me, but now that it's more accurate we've been told a common will never be worth the same as a rare more or less regardless of release
To me, the trade looks unfair to you using the rarity system above, but others might not believe in that system and stick to the idea of a common always being worth less than a rare (Yus, it's very confusing x_x )

Well CS trading is like... a SCIENCE! xD So it's a bit confusing most of the time no matter what. (;
But thank you for that great answer. (: Anything that even remotely helps me dealing with trades is a good thing. ;D

An '14 store pet is worth an early '10 rare, so it looks like overpay to me since only the fish is needed
The store dog had some demand a while ago due to the egg release over easter, but it's died down now

Both trades are unfair to the other person because their pets are older. The first would need to add an '13 uncommon to your side
The second trade with the '10 staff dogs, you'd need to add more than an '11 rare to your side since it's quite unfair to them

Unfair to you, the gap between the Liontail and Light Leo is only an '09 rare
Plus the Liontail has very good demand and can go for more on it's own
