But on another note, it seems the chicks for March are going to be more legit chicken breeds. <3

Figured I'd help out with the chicken breeds for this month's chickens....I was looking names up anyway to name mine which grew. I'll just edit this post when the rest grow. Posting now, or I'll forget to do it later.

I always think of that first one as a Mallard too. The second reminds me of geese (I think I was thinking of the Canadian ones) but I am wondering now if it's a pintail or 'dabbler' instead (or the ringtailed if not) and I think the third might be a Ruddy Duck too.

December - I know this is kind of out there, but the colours remind me of the iridescent (or nacrous) shades on some seashells... I have no idea what other people have been calling them though

I think this months Chickens are a lovely color scheme but I have no clue what I'd call them. Maybe something long the lines of Teal or Turquoise?
