Well, there's only one trade that I really regret to have accepted. And It was:

His/her offer: A common october and a common christmas dog.
(S)he wanted from me: The dark leopard dog from september.

I actually don't know if it's fair or not, but I was a newbie at that moment (can't actually remember how I got the leopard) and I accepted in the thought that it was a great trade. (s)he wanted one and gave me two I didn't had, how awesome, right. NOT. You can get these dogs everywhere for almost nothing and the leopard is harder to get.. I have regret it ever since I realized that I could had these dogs for, yeah free, somewhere else... But what's done is done, right? No hard feelings from here...

I just logged on to find a trade offering a liver-spot dalmatian and this month's blue firework pup from the red-blue-green blanket for my Joker, including this message:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE accept my trade offer! Two for one! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm kinda glad I don't have anything of real value in my trade groups. >.<

@Leurai: I believe that same person once made an offer of mostly commons for my one and only july rat. This actually prompted me to disable trading for all but my trades and my adoption group. And even then people try to get something valuable for free.

I just disable trading for "problem" groups - (groups with trade-magnet pets) - and that does the trick.

I honestly just don't let it get to me. I do things like disable trades to discourage traders because I hate saying "no," let alone saying it repeatedly. But otherwise...it's just not worth getting irritated over. Maybe I'm a product of drama - too much of it in RL to let it bleed into my relaxation areas.

There's a button at the bottom of the trade when you view it that say accept. Click that. Then, you can write a message back to the person thanking them for the trade.

Back in November, I had 3 jokers (wow was I lucky!). I kept one, obviously, and stuck the other two in my trade group. I kept getting trade offers for one of my jokers for free. >_> I'm like: dude, I'm not stupid. *grr*
That wasn't that bad though. (This was kind of my fault, but...) Sometime around late February, a person (I think it was a newbie) asked for two of my Valentine PPS for free. I wrote a message saying, "Sorry, neither of these pets are up for adoption." But without thinking, I accepted the trade (I was in the habit from my adoption group). I instantly realized my mistake, screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and then set up another trade, kindly explaining the situation and asking if I could have my pets back. They gave one back (I'm grateful for that) but not the other. I didn't mind that much because it was a duplicate anyway. They sent me a Happy Birthday Sorren Fey dog in return for the dog they kept (I already had one of those...but I eventually traded it to someone else for a pet I wanted).
Happy ending, right?

They sent me another trade for the dog they gave back, this time offering me some second gens and a few common pets from Feb. that I already had. I canceled the trade, explaining that a good rule of thumb was not to offer 2nd gens in trades or to offer pets the person already had unless they are specifically asking for them.
I figured it was over then, but they sent me another trade, this one asking for the same pup plus the brown PPS with a bone on its leg. They offered: some second gens and other commons I already had. They begged me, saying something like "please don't cancel the trade, my friend (that got me mad, calling me their friend). Edit it if you want, but don't cancel it, I worked really hard on this trade."

When I got my custom, I did not disable the trading settings and someone offered me 2nd Gens, horses, etc. for it. XD

And lately someone wanted my Chocolate Moon and offered two butterfly wolves (the ones with one outcome you can still adopt) and attached 'Thanx.' as message. o.o If I would ever accept such an offer...

Lately I've been getting the same sort of trades as well >< Someone took all my rare pets in my Rare Pet trades group and asked if they can have them for free DX It had 36 Pets in there at the time, 15 or so Julys, And the rest were Augusts/unreleased. I told them politely no but they insisted in trying to get those pets saying that 'those pets were for free' At that time I just wanted to do a deskplant and ignore the person.
