I see the markings too. The black markings don't look completely black but more of a darker gray. Right on it's shoulder and above the fur lines on it's front legs appear to be completely black lines. It doesn't seem to be part of the design in my opinion.

Yes, I do believe people shave their horses that way to cool the horse down after working/training, to make the horse easier to clean, and sometimes just for fun. People even do designs on their horses.

As you all know this dog represents the Moon Pup litter but may I point out the eye color. Obviously it is brown but look closely and it happens to be 3 different shades. The first, brightest, and lowest color is (as I believe) representing the main coat color of the Non-Tag and Dog Tag outcomes.

They second color is almost identical to the original pup.

And finally the darkest shade and closet to the pupil represents the Non-Swirl and the Moon Swirl


I might be the only one but I defiantly see it.

I thought it looked a bit like a dinosaur skull or something, haha. It's kinda shaped that way and I can see an eye and what appears to be a mouth...

Cool! But the dog has a collar and the rat doesn't, which is kinda funny! I wonder if it was a mistake that the artist forgot, or just chose that dogs wear collars, not rats? Either way that's pretty awesome!
