I'm not going to lie, all I can think of when I see this is, "Is that a MONKEY TAIL?" Still cute. Am I the only one who sees it? (Okay I'm crazy, but not that crazy.... I think)

I think the pony is answering your question~
-peeks at word on pony's shoulder- "No"?

On the other hand, it DOES look like a monkey tail of some sort. I enjoy viewing it as some sort of hair extension. XD

Personally, I had really hoped for a stylized, artistic approach to the bird designs rather than a direct slapping of the pattern on a horse. :/ Horses ae nothing like birds in terms of anatomy so it looks very wrong to me to see a bird pattern applied directly onto a horse with no artistic creativity applied to incoporate he wings in in some way other than being painted directly on the horse's side. It may just be my own weirdness, but I really didn't like Equi's bird horses either for this very reason, the wings painted directly on just don't look good to me.
*Edited because IE and I can't seem to agree on how to spell things. =P

I'm guessing it's supposed to look like half a heart, including the mane.
Maybe?

I personally rather like the horse! I actually love how the wings are on its sides, to me though it doesn't look like it was 'slapped on', I admire how tastefully it was drawn on. Or at least, to me, it looks like it wasn't just painted on -- it looks like the design actually belongs to the actual horse.
Pleasedon'tgetmadI'mnotyellingatanybody, just wanted to say I like the horse n___n;;
