GH Litter & Salmon Festival Discussion Thread

Sorry I'm confused… what was the salmon squad stuff? All I ever saw about it was the salmon squad litter on the adopt page and then the update today about "salmon squad shenanigans," and I can't find any explanation of said shenanigans. What am I missing?

Salmon Squad is the nickname, the General Helpers (like me ^.^) came up with due to our salmon color names. We created a special cat litter similar to the Staff Litter (they use the dog lineart) which will happen later this year. Our colors for litter consisted of salmon-like colors. Members around the forums were able to guess our kitties and we gave hints and clues ^.^ It was all meant for fun.

We also have been doing a really amazing giveaway with rares, VRs, and List Pets: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3080878

You still have time to enter in some of them ^.^


Today, some amazing items were created and released, so members can officially dress up their kitties in Salmon costumes <3

Wow! Just wow. I absolutely adored the Salmon Squad Month! I had no idea what I had in store for me when I was adopting these kitties, but can I say I am definitely not disappointed, and my excitement ran throughout the month on highwire. These were my favorites of the event! My number 1 tied is between Wesley's giraffe kitten, and Iridesdium's (sorry if I spelled that wrong) deer space fox. These are so adorable, and so creative, and I couldn't be more happy. I know I'm going to hoard so many of these kittens listed above, and nothing can stop me! I loved Kyar's cat-fox hybrid so much, I remember practically gasping when he grew! Seasonal's kitten is so elegant and pretty, and that white under belly and pink overcoat will always kill me, and the giveaway was so much fun to participate in, and on top of that I adored the gifs, pictures, and the hunt of the salmon! I loved finding the clues, and talking with a bunch of members, and overall having a great time. I loved this litter, and I really hope the general helpers have more in the future! <3

Well, here is my final post, I'd just like to say ever since I joined CS (Dec. 2015) this has been the most fun eventful month I've ever had! All the outcomes we're amazing and adorable and to that I congratulate the GH'S for making such a awesome litter! The giveaways, chat, and everything was all fun and I hope to do this again with you all another time! Have a good day/night.

This month was one of the best on Chicken Smoothie, in my opinion.
ALL of the General Helpers did an amazing job on their pets, and I really hope this can be done again!

I can't even begin to say how fun this month was. It was an amazing experience to get to know you all better on my 2nd month of Chicken Smoothie. I loved guessing all of the cats and partaking in the hunts for clues. I really hope this can be done again. I will forever have this memory of my 2nd (really first, as I joined very late in May) month of CS.

Like most of you assumed, this is Kippo, my cat
By figuring out the meaning behind a few of my hints, you would've all realized this a lot sooner xD


Such pretty oranges in the banner! Yet, I like the pinks more. The name of my cat I still can't remember though. You've been searching all day, look, the stars are out! I wish I could catch one and hold onto it!



This was the invisible text in the Break of Dawn thread, used during my giant hint hunt. The bold text would've let you know that I use pink on my cat.



I love stars, it's amazing how something so small to the eye can be so lovely. As for my cat's name, sorry, I still can't remember! Maybe in time?


Look into the bold text deeper, and you may be able to realize my cat was PPS

And finally, the name of my cat, Kippo, was the largest hint. A lot of you guys all went on Google or different search engines to figure out the meaning, but I didn't see a post from anyone saying that they actually looked up the name in my personal posts! If you did so, you'd probably come across a post or two where I address a user by the nickname Kippo, which is short for their CS username, Kipposaur. If you went to Kipposaur's profile, you'd see "My birthday is June 15th!" in her signature.
And what occured on that day?
Why, this cat grew, of course!

So there you go, a breakdown of hints that should've pointed you in the direction of my cat much sooner. Kippo is named after my best friend, who of course, is Kipposaur. I had this cat grow on her birthday as a gift because of how much she means to me. Besides that, I really have no background information or unique story written about my cat. I hope you guys all liked her though, she was a lot of fun to make!<3
