Green Urban lived in a dumping area with a pack of another urban wolves. He was the energiest wolf of all of them and was fed up living in the middle of junk, crab and rubbish. One day, he left the dumping area and started to search a life of his own.
When he arrived to the town, he was totally lost. He didn't know any palces there were to go, and he couldn't go back to the dumping area. Once he left, other wolves wouldn't take him back. Green was on his own now.
He drifted two days in dark streets, without food and water. He was totally completed, tired and didn't have any power in his body anymore. He fell on the dirty street and he realised he's sight had become foggy. This is my end, he thought. I shouldn't never leave my pack.
Then he suddenly saw a beautiful female wolf walking at him. I see hallucinations, he thought. I haven't seen any wolves here since I came here. "Hey, maybe she is an angel! I knew I would get in heaven", he said, suddenly loudly.
"I'm not an angel, you stupid. But you might turn into one, if you don't get any water now." Female stood right next to him head sidelong, looked Green with a bit irritated face, but Green saw that she was very worried.
"Here, take this. It's all I got for you", female wolf gave him little bottle from her neck.
"How did you know ..." Green asked, but drank water avariciously.
"I've followed you since you appeared here. Luckily I have always water with me, you wouldn't make it without it. Did you know you ran very fast? At last you hadn't enough strength to go on and I caught you."
"Did I run? I must have been in panic", Green was a bit confused. "What is your name by the way?"
"I'm Shy. I hate that name, that's just the opposite of me." She snorted.
"I'm Green." Green got up and sat, then looked at Shy more curiously. "And why did YOU follow me? where's your pack?"
Little shade of beautiful red appeared on Shy's dark cheeks, but she replied quickly. "I just couldn't stand them any longer."
"Well, same with me and my pack. aaand my first question?" Green smiled maliciously.
"Well...." I guess I have to be honest, Shy thought. "When I saw you, I wouldn't let you just go. You looked so similar to me somehow, and I felt kind of deep connection with you.. " Shy's eyes came a bit misty. "But the main thing was that I had been alone for too long, and finally saw an another wolf." she smiled.
"Well that wasn't surprise, I know I'm attractive", Green said self-conceitedly smiling.
Shy threw him with an empty bottle.

The night was cold but it did little to cool my temper.
I was seated at my post in front of one of the most popular nightclubs in the city, and I was most definitely not having fun. A long, lingering line of hopeful patrons stretched from the gate to three streets away, and were constantly jostling each other and occassionally me.
A stray paw slammed against my haunch and I tightened my muscles, rising to my full height. I was an impressively tall wolf, which had been the first reason I had earned my career here. That, and the flaming sun design that sheathed across my flanks and shoulders was a rather impressive display of power.
Immediately, the line moved back two notches, timid when it came to the stranger that may or may not let them in. Once I was comfortably sure that they were calmer, I slid back into a sit, adjusting the vibrantly red hat that perched atop my head with a flick of my paw. I was more then practiced at wearing the outfit, complete with the tie that dangled off my throat decorated with a question mark. My employer had thought it was entertaining to be recognized as the "Question Man", for I was technically the ones who decided their fate.

Behind me, a laughing couple exited the building and immediately the line rolled, hoping that this time was theirs. I was the one who picked how many could go in now, and who they were. Generally, I was encouraged to choose the prettiest girls and the most handsome men.
As my pale blue eyes scanned the group, the flash of polished leaves caught my attention. I blinked, confused, and backtracked my gaze until I found the characteristic flash of fresh vegetation again, and when I did, I was momentarily puzzled by the man who was holding them.
His pelt was so richly designed by the foolish foxes that paraded on the edges of town that I thought for a minute he was one of them. My hackles rose to a challenge, for the clever canines were not allowed to enter here. My faint growl seemed to catch his attention for he glanced my way and quirked his brow, shrugging his shoulders back further into the coat he wore. That was when I seemed to notice his size; unless the fox population had literally boomed and grown three times to how small they were yesterday, this wolf was no fox.
A grin replaced my growl and I nodded to him. I would have to make up to the customer my slip-up. He slid past the complaining crowd and approached me, moving to go inside. I stopped him with my words, but made sure to be enough out of the way that he wouldn't have to brush up against me to fit.
"What's your name, sir?" I inquired, hoping to have it to give him a former apology. I didn't want him finding the manager, my boss, and telling him that I had near-tackled somebody about to pay his big money.
The stranger was already halfway in the door when I spoke but he turned his head to face me, a small holly branch still resting loosely in his jaws. I could smell the delicate scent from even where I stood. "Me? I'm just a gamblin' man, kid. I ain't got no name in these parts of town." He disappeared into the interior and I blinked at his response, watching as his white-tipped tail vanished through the mulling citizens inside.
The gamblin man. I grinned to myself, pleased, and swung back around to face my horde. I liked that. I liked that a lot.

I padded slowly down the gravel road. It was late at night. The time she usually came to visit me was approaching quickly. 'Midnight.' She had said it years earlier when I asked her if we could meet again. ' Midnight on Halloween. Every two years.' I have come every year. She had as well. We would stay with one another for months afterwards and then seperate for one or two. She stopped coming after the third time we met. As I looked through the steamy window, I knew why. She had found someone else. I had always known she had. That last time we met, she said something about a new friend and when she said his name she got that special sparkle in her eye. I watched them shoo their pups back to bed. I smiled. This would be the last time I would come. She had moved on. But I only wanted one last thing. I wanted to know his name. As I scanned the room for a hint, I saw an old picture stuffed by a frame that was much to small for it. The picture sat on her nightstand. It was a picture of the two of us. I read the words on the frame. 'My Best Friend From Childhood'. I sat back on my hunches for a minute. I then got up and left. I knew what I needed to know. She remembered me.
