I voted to add both, because personally I think it’s easier to compare the values of pets to one another if they’re all listed in the same place. If they’re on separate lists, I think I would have trouble valuing a pet from one list to one from another.
However, I also would have a problem if store pets are included in a separate list. I can see the argument for it considering the fact that they aren’t rereleased and will only increase in value, making it more difficult to pinpoint where they should lay.
I do think the urs could be added without too much difficulty though. Since they are rereleased like normal adopts are, in my opinion, they would act more like normal adopts than store pets would. Overall, there also seems to be more rarity change data for them, which would help in their placement.

I haven't voted yet as, while I think URs should definitely be added, I don't really have a strong opinion regarding whether store pets are added or not. If they are added I'm personally one who would then vote for what EI suggested, have them listed in their own post on the thread with just information about when they each changed rarities, rather than trying to guess where they might fit in with the normal pets.

I am loving all this talk and am really excited about this list!

I am sitting with URs and not store pets due to the reasoning above (Although I still view myself needing them for a full collection due to them being on the WL haha)

I think a seperate list will be needed for store pets, or a disclaimer if we put it in this one, as well as maybe a differnet colour for the store pets?

i voted for UR's but not store pets for the same reason, but i see why people would want stores on the same list too ^^ personally i agree with the suggestion that, if it comes down to it, there should be a note explaining their semi custom status though.

I agree with this. I actually voted for just the URS and not for store pets. I feel like they should be on a separate list and not this one. I view them differently than URS or the July 08 dogs.

Dropping my opinion, glad to see the next poll is up!

I decided to vote for URs but not store pets on the list. In my mind, UR pets are more like normal releases. Sure, you can only get that at one exclusive time, but every year they are released and should be considered part of a collection, even if they aren't your typical pets. They still have value that can be somewhat compared to normal pets. While no accuracy can really be known positively on URs that have been OMGSR since release, it is still worth mentioning them and treating them like normal pets.

As for stores, Tess herself has said they are more "semi-customs" than actual pets. (something along these lines, apologies if that is inaccurate) They are bonus pets, why treat them like other pets when they are not? They are a one time purchase and will not be released. Since some users who don't lurk forums (esp. list ones at that) very often may be confused why these other OMGSR pets are not on any list, I suggest providing an explanation with the stores own "list" as well as explaining that they are "placed" by the date they went OMGSR or VR. (since I assume this is how a list would be made for them.)

I voted yes for UR's, no for Store Pets.

I believe that store pets should have their own list with themselves. The main thing with storepets is that they will continue to grow in rarity and become worth the most in the game by far. I do not believe that they should be considered in the rarity trading guide as they are not only "semi customs" like P A N D A said, but also will inevitably take up most of the list by the time another 5-10 years pass, as the list will become swarmed with them.

Instead, they should be tracked on a separate list with showing when they changed rarity and how much they changed in rarity from when they came out so users can see what ones are rarer than the rest so they can do their trading.

Anyone can create whatever they like, there are no rules against people having a difference of opinion and voicing it.
This project, or what I've been working on, has been going on for a lot longer than when the Rares List started to go downhill.
The Rarity Counter Project has been going on for a few years? now.

Besides, this is rarity based only, the Rares List isn't. So it's not the same, or a replacement.

I understand people can create whatever they like. My point is by putting a rare pet above another rare pet puts something in people's minds of this pet is valued less even though people have that same pet equally this a rare from 09 can now be arguable as equaling value of a current rare or a new rare worth the same as a rare that was rare from the get go. It's an opinion I just feel like maybe just maybe waiting until the vote is done because who knows maybe the new list if restructured could take this route.

I'm not attacking you I just have an opinion of perhaps people can just do free Lance trading and not have another new list that is once again treated like it's the law of the land that is all I'm saying. Yes you are free to do whatever but in turn you are subjecting yourself to other people's opinion.

this is sort of an off topic question, i just got curious, there don't seem to be any reserved posts on the front for a list of any sort, so was it planned to make the list on something else and link it here? or was there going to be another thread made or something?

When it comes time I'll make another thread and we can have 3-4 volunteers run the thread so we can keep it community run! ^^ This is all just draft and planning.
