Favourite poster you have?

In 2008, Linkin Park released special posters for Projekt Revolution. Every venue had a unique design, and only 200 were made of each of them. I have one, and I got it signed by one of the vocalists, Mike Shinoda, and the drummer, Rob Bourdon. That has to be my favorite.

Do you collect anything? If so, what?

I have a ridiculous rock collection. I also collect diecast model 1967 Chevy Impalas, apparently, because I have nearly a dozen of them. But, then again, I also have nearly a dozen diecast Mustangs, as well.
I also collect the colorful pop tabs from energy drinks.

to any artists:
what is your favorite drawing/painting program? i.e paint tool sai, photoshop, etc

I love SAI and Photoshop. However, I don't have access to the latter, anymore. FireAlpaca's a very good substitute, though.

Do you have a job in real life? if so, what is it?

The job that pays my bills is an HR position in a local store. Since we don't have a store manager at the moment, and we're losing another one of our managers next week, I'm sort of standing in as the store leadership's crutch and backbone as well. For some reason, all of my associates are always looking to me for... well. Everything.

Tess lies. Our page is red, and pulses with the arcane knowledge of Chicken Smoothie's lore. We absorb it. We feed from it. We are become Chicken Smoothie, and Chicken Smoothie is become us.

Do you have a job in real life? if so, what is it?

I'm an archaeologistish! A baby archaeologist. An archaeoling, if you will. I also run an escape room.

On the site: I kinda collect blue stripy PPS ponies. But half-heartedly.
Off site: I collect skulls and other bits of animal bone. I'm up to 5 skulls, and 3 other animal bone bits.

I'm really interested in this at the moment, so this is a very expansive question, hahaha:
War.
What do you think of it? Do you think you'd fight if it was needed, or do you reckon you'd go bush? Is there anything war-related that's really struck/touched/moved you? Have you been to any war sites? Experienced any war-y stuff? Know anyone in an army? Know anyone who lived during WWII? What about have you ever drawn/written/seen anything war/battlefield-ish? Any important wars in your history that you care about, personally or not?
Sorry, this is quite long haha; I'm just really interested in wars right now ;p

My parents were activists in my country during a time of political mess, and have always been vehemently against war, conflict and weapons of any kind, to the extent that our water pistols as kids could not look like guns. I, personally, would do anything possible to avoid conscription. I don't want to be killed or kill anyone else if possible. My dad's side of the family is Jewish and my mom's family had a very hard time in WWII. I have visited old concentration camps in Europe, and felt incredibly moved and saddened, and guiltily fortunate that I had a near miss and got to be around, because my ancestors didn't get taken there.
I once wrote a short essay in school about a war memorial, and the way war shaped a woman's life, based on my grandmother and her experience.

In short: War is a terrible thing to be avoided at all costs.

what is your best memory on CS?

Maybe not the best, but the one that sticks out to me the most is lying in a tent at pony camp in the early morning of December 2009, getting the advent releases on my cellphone. It was my first year on CS and I felt like I was discovering this whole new internet world.

since becoming part of the staff, have you made any close friends who are also staff? if so, who?

Heck yea! Hekomi and I were very close, but her real life has taken her in wonderful but busy directions. Pandle was actually a chum from before CS, but we've only become better friends. I've been lucky enough to be friends with Draca and Vampy, and also Bel racat and raey. And I'm not sure if Sorren would consider me a close friend, but I admire her very much. The staff are fabbo and I love 'em.

Been a few days since the last post, let's revive this.

It's almost June, so summer's coming up! Any plans for this summer?

It's Winter. I spend my days hiding in a museum, drinking tea and unwrapping and then rewrapping large rocks.

There is no set date for the event to start each year, and users aren't told the exact date beforehand, though the news site may post a reminder that it will start soon.
Last year we had these fun announcements pop up one by one on the day before the event:

(Sadly now deleted from the site. One post from the 14th is still there, though!)

The past summer event dates were as follows:
2011: July 18 - August 6
2012: July 14 - July 24
2013: July 23 - August 6
2014: July 25 - August 15
2015: July 25 - August 9
2016: July 15 - July 30

With the exception of 2011 and 2013, all of the starting days were Fridays and Saturdays.

Why did you want to join the CS team?

I wanted to give back to the site that gave me so much. c: I started getting into digital art because of the encouragement on CS, so I wanted to do the same for others!

to anyone that's made a staff/GH pet before:
-Is it frustrating to see your outcome being assigned to someone else and have a lot of people cross it off as "figured out"?
I've always wondered how it must feel for the staff when their reading all of our silly speculations in the discussion threads!

Not frustrating c: It's more amusing than anything else.

It used to be either cookies n' cream or like a brownie flavor... but now those flavors make me sick and the gluten free substitutes just aren't the same. Give me some coconut milk ice cream in plain chocolate and I'll be happy.

Hedgehog things lol I also have an accidental collection of notebooks. I've slowed down over the years, but I have a pretty decent collection of Breyer horses.

I used to play petz <3 I tried hexing, but I really wasn't that good.

I'm a full-time student currently, but I have a position in a neuroscience lab. c: I also worked at my local petco this summer.
