Am I the only one who adores the new PPS owl? I like it more then the other one, the PPS horse is fine, but I never cared for either PPS design anyways. But I freakin the love the owl, I want tones of little PPS owls now OwO

No, I totally agree with you. I think the new linearts are fantastic. <3 People need to stop complaining. :\ I doubt it's making Malk feel that great at all. It's her art, let her do what she wants with it.

We're not complaining, we're just stating our opinion - which should be a given. And we already said it's not meant to offend Malk in any way. We just liked the old linearts better. What's so wrong with that? I rather don't understand why we should adore those linearts when we obviously don't. We can't force ourselves to love them...

I'm not saying you should force yourself to like them but at the same time, even if you they aren't meant to offend, think about how multitudes of comments all saying the same thing make an artist feel. It just seems like it's a subject that just keeps being brought up over and over again; you may not like it, but it's what's there so let's move on and compliment the fact that Malk is working hard.

There are like 3 people who liked the old linearts better and about 20 people who ADORE the new ones. I don't think that Malk will feel down because those 3 people LIKE the new lineart but still like the old one BETTER. I wouldn't. And I have a different attitude towards criticism, because I'm a writer (I'm German, though, so I apologize for any mistake) and I LIVE from criticism (though you can't call what we said criticism, it's just TASTE).
I mean, Malk is not five years old. She's old enough not to cry because it's not to everybody's liking o_O
And this IS a thread where we can state our opinion. This is not an "Only people who adore the new lineart can post here!"-thread.

I know she's not five, I never meant to imply that she was, but criticism of any kind can get people down at times, especially when you're working hard at something. I mean, on top of doing all the new linearts, Malk's doing new pets as well so it's gotta be quite a work load on top of real life.

(No need to apologize~ You're doing fine~) Everyone has different approaches to criticism, I know I do, but it still can get a bit disheartening at times. And yes, this thread is to state your opinions but there's also a way to do it and not "beat a dead horse" as the saying goes.

And I do get that people do like a lot of the new linearts, and honestly my comment was mostly aimed at the fact that people seem really put off by the new owls, and no, everyone is not expected to like everything. But there's a difference between criticism and constructive criticism. It just seems like people are being a bit harsh. (Not saying you in specific, it just seems like that's the air this thread as gotten as of late.)
